Topic: e3 is going to be insane

Every E3 for the last few years Nintendo has announced the big guns for the year's second half, and considering what they've got coming for the first half, I'm definitely excited.

I predict Sony will apologize (again) to the gaming community.

Wow, if you're excited by the already announced stuff, then I bet your mind will be blown away by what will be announced then. Surprise us, Nintendo! E3 is always about surprises!

It's about simplicity and accessibility. Consoles have always been popular because they don't require expensive hardware upgrades every 2 years (graphics cards, RAM, CPU, etc.), and a controller is just easier to use than a multi-button keyboard and mouse combo.

I've tried playing on a PC using a keyboard and mouse, and I just couldn't get into it. I prefer a game controller cause it's comfortable to hold and I know what buttons do what. I just use an Xbox 360 controller for Steam and Games For Windows.

To each his/her own I guess.

Ratchet & Clank, Jak & Daxter, Littlebigplanet, Uncharted, Twisted Metal, Resistance, Modnation, Sly Cooper, and Infamous, just to mention a few? Really? Littlebigplanet alone is a classic!

problem is Sony has exhausted most of those franchise. alot of over saturation. sly Cooper has my attention though.

Also no new heavenly sword makes me mad.

Well maybe because he prefers other games that do things "better"?

My two cents: Ratchet & Clank is completely overshadowed by Mario. Jak & Daxter has been bad since the second one. LBP is garbage. Uncharted is amazing. Twisted Metal is great! Resistance is average. Modnation is a poor man's Mario Kart. Sly Cooper is pretty good. Infamous is epic. And you forgot Motorstorm. How dare you.

I can overlook your bullcrap comparison of Ratchet to Mario and you implying LBP is anything but great, but Modnation being a poor-man's Mario Kart? That game is Mario Kart without the crud. It actually requires skill and the AI doesn't cheat nearly as much. And the items are way more balanced. If anything, Mario Kart is a poor man's Modnation, because everything it does is worse.

I don't find the music as catchy or as great as Mario Kart's. As it will never be on Par with MK. The characters are dumb too. Making your own cookie cutter character is boring when compared to being Boo or Dry Bones and Luigi. The controls were messy for me. That's personal though. And the track design is poor and uninteresting. The online is okay but the items aren't... fun.

Very dull experience when compared to MK, IMHO. I prefer Motorstorm over Modnation.

also while LBP is not my cup of tea its still good.

if anything Sony's problem is they have too many first party games.

LBP is a good game. It's just LBP2 for $60 as my first PS3 title was a kick in the nads. Really disappointed.

They're both platformers. R&C in many aspects isn't as great as Mario. I find Mario to be the superior franchise. Also the storylines in R&C are... no. I could go on but come on now.

The stories are great. And Ratchet & Clank is as much a shooter and a collectathon as it is a platformer, so your argument is invalid.

The first sentence reads: Ratchet & Clank is a series of ...

Anyway this is all my opinion, really. And to add to that opinion I find Mario to be the better collectathon. _{See Super Mario Galaxy 2 for details.}
