There's plenty of gems on Dreamcast that everyone should try out.

Fixed.

How is Sonic Adventure 2 better than the first? The first one was absolutely terrible, so I'd like to know how the sequel improved it.
The main reason I hated Sonic Adventure was the gameplay was absolutely atrocious. Such a mistake downloading it on PSN.

They're both great games. I just think the controls in Sonic Adventure 2 to be better along with the camera angles, voice acting, graphics, overall score, etc. The replay ability is immense and the Chao gardens are much better in Sonic Adventure 2.

Just for you.

Aside from Bomberman Online, I've played all those games and love all of them, especially Jet Set Radio, Power Stone 2, and PenPen Triicelon. Actually we can get Sonic Adventure games elsewhere so no real need for that. I want to play both Shenmues.

isn't this system hard to emulate. i recall hearing problems with it over the years.

Most of the games on modern processors should be a piece of cake. Dreamcast only ran 200mhz anyways some of the games required windows CE and direct3d which I believe causes some problems when emulating. I also remember reading somewhere that the games that ran of windows were crappier than most of the other ones but I'm not sure. If that's the case then why would you want to emulate those?

Wouldn't be a bad idea, but I may have to agree with shingi_70. In fact, games for newer consoles are indeed more difficult to emulate. That's probably why there weren't much N64 games on Virtual Console.

Also, alot of companies died or were bought out (like Rare) so Nintendo don't own rights to emulate those games. Which is a shame, I really want to play the original Goldeneye

What is the likelihood that the Wii U will be able to download Dreamcast games?

A few of them are already on XBLA, it's a pretty safe bet that we'll be seeing Dreamcast and Saturn games on the Wii U at some point.

I remember reading something like that about the Sega Saturn, but not the Dreamcast. In any case, since so many games on the Saturn and Dreamcast were even better in the arcade, it might be easier for Nintendo to get more proactive with their VC Arcade instead.

It's something I'd like to see, but just remember that Shenmue came on 3 GD-ROMS (approx. 3.6 GB), which would be a hefty download, even on PSN/XBLA. Even the games which came over 2 GDs like Headhunter and Code Veronica would amount to about 2.4 GB, so a few of them would fill the rumoured 8GB flash memory in the Wii U.

As for emulation, I can't imagine the Dreamcast will be too difficult, given that it was supposed to be easy to develop for, and most modern consoles should be powerful enough anyway. The Saturn could well be a different matter, though. The two processors were a sub-optimal solution anyway, and created a hideously complicated architecture. I think there are a couple of unofficial emulators for computers, but none of them are great, although SEGA's expertise could make things better. Only time will tell...

I go by Lin1876 everywhere in games, so keep an eye out for me!

PHANTASY STAR ONLINE!!!! I loved playing this over my old 56k internet connection, especially because of the novelty of plugging a big ol' keyboard into the Dreamcast so you could chat to your mates while still slaying gigantic dragons. Considering it did quite well on the Gamecube too I think a Virtual Console release (or even a full remake) would be the least Ninty could do.

Well Sonic Adventure 2 improved upon virtually everything that was wrong with the first game. The controls, story, voice acting, level design, level variety, etc. were all better implemented in Sonic Adventure 2.
