What is the likelihood that the Wii U will be able to download Dreamcast games?

For the sake of nostalgia, I hope we get new systems.

Dreamcast
GameCube
Saturn
Sega CD

At least since the Wii U doesn't have GameCube compatibility let us download GC games...ideally at little or no extra cost. Although seeing as it's Nintendo, the "little or no extra cost" thing isn't likely to happen...then again, since Nintendo seem to be serious about improving their online services, they just might do that.

I hope we do see Dreamcast games..

@Tendoboy- Sonic Adventure is an awesome game (minus the Big levels). You obviously haven't played a truly bad 3D Sonic game (like Sonic 06).

It's marketing failed. But it won my heart

It will always be one of my favorite consoles....

One thing is that several Dreamcast games were ported to the GameCube, so they'll most likely re-release those instead.

Shame, because I'd like to try out Ecco DC. Good thing it was also released to the PS2.

Well Shenmue and Shenmue 2 would be musts already own both but couldn't hurt to own them in download form too, though its really Saturn games I'd want to see on VC seeing as they are generally much more expensive than DC games.

I liked Sonic Adventure more than I did Sonic Adventure 2, tbh.

I'd like to play Psychic 2099, i think thats what it was called, again. It was an arena based fighting game where you moved in 3 dimensions within a cube while using various powers.

Being able to download an affordable copy of Skies of Arcadia would be nice. I've always wanted to play it, but even decent used copies (of either version) can be pretty pricey and hard to find.
