I think I might have been born in the crappiest video game year since the invention of video games, which is 1983. The only good games released that year were Spy Hunter and Mario Bros. I have to say that this forum is making me feel pretty damn old. lol. Lot's of kids on here were born during the N64 era. Dang. lol

All I can think of is Shinobi...but I am not really a fan of Shinobi itself...but I AM a fan of Shinobi Teams games (Streets of Rage, Valkyria Chronicles and even their collaborations with other SEGA teams).
Edit: Awesome, Teetris came out in 1989 (of course...the Game Boy made its debut around that time too!)
@Relevent Latty Technically, Tetris originally came out in '84, we just didn't get it on a Ninty system in the US until '89. I think the first US release was around '85 or '86 on PC.
Well, this certainly is an interesting question, isn't it? I'd have to say Chrono Trigger. (The original SNES version, not the FF Chronicles or DS version. )

I know what you mean...but hardly ANYTHING happened in 1989 worth adding to this page. With Tetris, at least we can say it "took off" about that time. XD
