Time again to start up those engines and join the Mario Kart Competitions Party. For those of you unfamiliar with the concept, here goes..
We compete in the twice a month competitions presented by Nintendo. Competitions is the EU name for US Tournaments. I sum up the scores that gives as we were actually competing live, we just compare our best posted times and get scores as if we were racin in realtime. (15,12,10,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1,0) To be able to see each others times we need to exchange friendcodes. All you have to do is exchange friendcode with me but for greater fun it´s better to add as many of the competitors as you can.

Me too, friend code's in my sig, not to mention the other thread. We never did get the final standings for Jan/Feb though...

I´m sure Machu will end it (I guess you mean the March/April Compy) properly when he finds time between monster battles in MHTri. He did a stellar job hosting it.

I will do if Im able to let MH Tri appart.

That's right Mange! It is a VS race with 11 other racers on Mario Circuit. It is also restricted to karts and Wii Wheels and ends on the 10th! I had a go at it just now. There is going to be a lot of luck involved with this one because of computers and their items...

I'm in. Gonna try and get a good time in for all comps this time round.

A VS race... great, then you could stand a chance against Machu. He sent me an unbeatable ghost for that track a while ago.

Just tried it out. Being the Wii Wheel novice that I am, my time is less than steller. It was 1:47.888. Oddly, no blue shells or lightning, but there were a couple POWs.

Same here, three races and no blue shells or lightnings. Didn´t get a mentionable time though. 1:54

Here's an interesting little bit of info I found on NoE's website under the latest MK competition:
Please note that from May 2010 onwards, previously run Mario Kart Wii competitions will be repeated, although the rules for each competition may differ from when they previously featured. As we will no longer be listing upcoming competitions on this website, be sure to keep an eye on the Mario Kart Channel for the latest competition details.

So it seems Nintendo has given up on making new MK competitions. Hopefully this doesn't mean they will stop running them soon...
