Topic: SHould we get new Nintendo-based TV shows?

ClassicSonicFan	1. Posted: Tue 4th Dec 2012 20:46 GMT Think about it, this would be AWESOME! Especially if they gave a Mario and Legend of Zelda TV show another chance (but Super Mario Bros. Super Show was okay I guess). Kirby Right Back at Ya was a great example of how video game-based cartoons should be. Maybe a Mario cartoon, a Zelda anime, F-Zero anime, Metroid anime, Star Fox anime, or I would even like a new Kid Icarus TV show after seeing Kid Icarus: Uprising. What do you guys think? Also, a new Pac-Man show is coming to DIsney XD, which I'm excited about!

I think Nintendo's only show that should stay a cartoon is pokemon. if i remember correctly kid Icarus uprising did have a short anime of it in japan based around the games story. kkslider5552000	12. Posted: Tue 4th Dec 2012 22:26 GMT I tried watching the Super Mario World and Zelda cartoons once. I refuse to believe anyone likes them unironically. The Kirby one's actually quite good, mainly the japanese version. But that only happened because IIRC Sakurai himself was heavily involved with it.

moomoo	13. Posted: Tue 4th Dec 2012 22:29 GMT No, for the main reason that in order for it any show to be good, lots of resources have to go to it. Like @kkslider5552000 said, the only one that proved to be quality was the Kirby one, since its creator was heavily involved. Nintendo should put their resources towards making games, not TV shows.

rayword45	18. Posted: Wed 5th Dec 2012 00:49 GMT A dialogue-free mini-series for Metroid would be completely badass. A Zelda series could also work with that idea, but the idea of a Zelda cartoon is too tarnished at this point.
