I don't just mean games you hate, but those that maybe you enjoyed as well, but felt where nowhere near as good as most people say, the Sims I really can't stand while the Smash Bros series I enjoy but feel its very over rated, so what franchises to you are over rated.
Halo is indeed overrated. I enjoyed Halo 1 but 2 and 3 were meh. Pokemon is another overrated franchise in my opinion. It was on its prime during the R/B/Y and G/S/C days

Ah yes Pokemon was the one I forgot. I completley agree with you, those days were when the Pokemon games were the best. I bought Pokemon Platinum last year and while it was fun, it just wasn't as fun as say Blue or Gold (Which were the other Pokemon games I had).

Yet you have Cynthia as your avatar. If you didn't like Gen IV so much, it seems odd to me that you would choose her. Gens I and II had plenty of beautiful women you could have picked. Don't change it now though. It's nice to see Cynthia on the forums.
On-topic: I'm not going to mention any Microsoft or Sony game franchises*cough*Halo*cough*. Unfortunately, Zelda tends to be overrated sometimes. Some of them deserve the praise they get and some of them really don't.

Halo, or 'the trudge' as I call it, was some mindless fun but that's all and deserves no-wear near the plaudits it gets. Definitely one for 'the masses'. And yes I played through 1 AND 2 in co-op which was distracting but still lame, and I couldn't find any story in there, though others assure me otherwise (I musta missed it sorry). And don't retort with "Halo 3 rocks" cos' I don't care.
Final Fantasy! And no I'm not going into my reasons as I've been banging my head against that wall for years, to no avail.
