Which is your favorite way to play games and why? I think it's easier to play games on a TV screen but I like the feeling of being able to take my games with me anywhere. Home consoles are more fun for multiplayer experiences, but I think handhelds are better for single player experiences. Overall it's a tie, but if I had to choose I would choose to have the option to take my games with me anywhere instead of having them stationary at home. What experience do you prefer and why?
Games I'm playing currently: Legend of Zelda: A Link Betweeen Worlds, Tearaway
Games I'm excited for: Super Mario 3D World, Super Smash Bros. 4, Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, Mario Kart 8
3DS Friend Code: 1719-3467-7677
Nintendo Network ID: SupaSamiStar14
Consoles. There's no reason to play video games on the go as they're too distracting and there's too much to experience in life than to limit one's self to something that can be done at home on his day off.

Lately i have been leaning more towards handhelds. I play my 3DS to death while my PS3 and Wii are collecting dust.
I'm loving my 3DS so much i even am considering making it my only way of playing games.
If i would buy a home console for the next generation it would be a Wii U, but lately i just can't find the time to play a lot of games anymore. Save for my 3Ds because i have it with me all the time. Come to think of it, i really think i'm sticking with the solo DS experience. It just suits me better i guess.
handhelds. my handhelds have gotten me thru a massive amount of time i've had to spend away from home thru distressing circumstances. they have helped keep me sane, or at least as close to sane as i ever get.
hmn
i like both...
my favorite game to play? hmn... it's a combination of Computer (MBP), Console (Wii U) and Handheld (3DS XL)
i like them all
also.. i never take my handheld with me.. i only play at home... if it's a long train ride, car ride or flight.. i'd take my 3DS XL with me i guess, but otherwise.. i only play games at home
i know there are many people that almost always take their handheld with them, but that's just not for me... way too annoying to carry it around
I like handhelds personally that way I dont have to fight others for the TV. Although the Wii Us off-tv game play makes it so I can play games on a console now much easier.

I like both just as much. Handheld gaming is more relaxing for me, so it's a nice way of taking a break when studying etc.
I have to say that the WiiU have been taking up a lot of my time lately though, since I can use it as a handheld at home. When that system gets on a roll with software, my 3DS is going to suffer. But all in all, I love both.

Pretty much what Chrono said.
To blessed to be stressed.
80's music makes me feel fabulous.

Both. Or practically speaking, it depends on the game. I kind of prefer home consoles for multiplayer games (since you can set up matches/races/battles against friends far more easily when all you need to buy are multiple controllers), but handhelds for single player games.
They allow you to carry the better reality around. There are no good experiences in life, just a series of missed oppurtunities and failed attempts at a chance for something greater.
It doesn't matter to me. If a game is only on a home console, then I'll stay at home and play it. If a game is only available on my 3ds, I'll sit at home on my couch and play it.
