I hope and pray that this movie will be as good as the lost two were. I'm sure we'll all miss Orlando Bloom.

I dont know if it will be good as good as the others. Truthfully I only really liked the first one the other two were ok. This one though isnt even a Pirates of the Carribean story. The took an existing book and changed the characters to Jack Sparrow and a few others. Heck Orlando Bloom and whats her name arent even in this one. Personally I think they should have just stopped at 3.

Yeah, no. I'm glad it's focused on Jack and Barbossa, because they're the only reason to watch the original movies.

Actually with all those Pirates of the Caribbean comics they had running in Disney Adventures I thought and hoped for an animated Pirates of the Caribbean television show on Disney Channel or at the very lest on Disney XD.

Still, I'm happy the movies are continuing. I can't get enough Pirate lore! It's just so very wrong to dump Orlando Bloom like that! At lest Joshmie Gibbs is coming back.

Well from what I have read according to Johnny Depp this is the last one for him so Disney continues the series it will be without him.

Finally! Another mediocre entry.

I only really loved the first one. The second was kind of the "OH MY GOD WHAT THE HECK JUST HAPPENED THAT WAS AWESOME!" one and the last one...was really, really, really, really, really confusing and long.

So long as there aren't fifty million plot threads I need to follow, I'm fine. Only focusing on Jack and Barbossa will definitely make it better than the other ones (Except maybe the first)

And no, I will not be missing Orlando Bloom. I will be missing Keira Knightley though.

freakin' thirded. i hated Bloom and Knightley's BS, especially during the final movie in the trilogy.

I just wish that a cannonball hits Penelope Cruize by 'mistake'.

Tis happy to hear it matey! I don't understand why some people didn't like the last two. I didn't like the first movie at all! The first movie was really disappointing for me. Dead Man's Chest and At World's End were like the best of the best although I really liked Dead Man's Chest the most.

I enjoyed the battle between Jack, Will and Norrington for the key and I loved the scene were Jack is running away from the islanders in Dead Man's Chest. The cinematography in the opening scenes of Dead Man's Chest was purely magical.

I enjoyed the whirlpool battle toward the end of At World's End with Jack swinging around and attempting to shoot but missing and I enjoyed the sword battle between Jack and Davy Jones. To bad we might see anymore Tia Delma though.

I never really cared for Orlando bloom or Kiera Knightly in these movies. I just found their characters to be annoying. It should only focus on Jack Sparrow. I'm glad those two are gone. As long as the new movie is better than pirates 3 it'll surely be awesome! The best part about the 3rd one was this.

Another great attraction that Disney should indeed adapt into a movie or film trilogy is Expedition Everest: Legend of the Forbidden Mountain. I've always enjoyed the legends surrounding all things "Yeti". I think both Big Thunder Mountain and Expedition Everest: Legend of the Forbidden Mountain would make great films.

I liked the second one. Mostly for the music.

The sad thing regarding this fourth installment in the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise is that it isn't exactly authentic Disney POTC lore. It is not an original, Disney-spawned story. Tim Powers authored a book called "On Stranger Tides" and then sold the film rights for the book to the Walt Disney Company.

It's all so very lazy for Disney to ignore all of their own material such as the Pirates of the Caribbean Jack Sparrow books and the POTC Legends of the Brethern Court books in favor of buying "On Stranger Tides" and then slapping the Pirates of the Caribbean moniker on it. How lazy and uncreative; a sure sign of the times if nothing else.

Anyway, I'm still happy Pirates of the Caribbean as a franchise is still afloat. I only wish the minds at Disney would be more creative, especially when dealing with something on the magnitude of Pirates of the Caribbean.

I'm getting so annoyed with the movers in the entertainment industry and that includes even my beloved George Lucas. If Lucasfilm doesn't do something for Monkey Island then I'm gonna e-mail them and ask them with a petition for a Monkey Island television show. I really enjoy One Piece and Marvelous Misadventures of Flap Jack and I think it's a heck of time over due for a Monkey Island television show darn it. Of course, while we still have Star Wars The Clones Wars airing I'll try to continue to respect Mr. Lucas as that's a great show to say the very lest.

I still can't believe Cartoon Network cancelled Flap Jack in favor that HORRIBLE Regular Show. And the executives won't acknowledge it, instead they maintain that they ENDED the show. Boy, it's hard to find honest people today.
