Isn't COD4 like, considered one of the best entries in the series? The only people who don't seem to like it, are the people who don't like COD (or FPSers) in general.

I was completely unware COD 4 had hate/dislike at all. Even people that disliked FPS games were able to see why people liked it. COD haters didn't really exist yet, either, since the reason for people hating COD (it's milking and success) wasn't really accomplished until after COD 4. Plus, it is still one of the best FPS games out there, and the innovations it made in multiplayer at the time of release are second to none. Pretty much every FPS still takes notes from that game.

Samurai warrior Chronicles is a great game. I got metroid other M on launch and have no regrets. I enjoyed Star Fox Assault. I enjoyed Lair, I did get it cheap but I enjoyed the motion controll for the dragon.

Currently playing: Fire Emblem: Awakening.
Current backlog: Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch (part way through) and the Unfinished Swan (unplayed).

I always thought of Splatterhouse as a good B-Game - a bad game that's incredibly enjoyable.

I liked Castlevania for the N64. The game had flaws but it did not bother me. I had a good time playing it.

Mario Sunshine- what an amazing game. Challenging, but rewarding, it always left me wanting to play some more...
Metroid: Other M- I had a lot of fun with it, even though I could have used a little more health at the beginning of the game.
Kid Icarus: Uprising- my only problem was that I was having so much fun that I sometimes forgot to take breaks to let my hands rest a bit.

I'm surprised to see some people mentioning Kirby 64, I didn't know that it was considered a "dissapointing" entry in the series. Guess I'll add it to my list (played it a lot as a kid):

  • Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: the Crystal Bearers
  • Super Paper Mario
  • Samurai Warriors: Chronicles
  • Alleyway
  • Kirby 64
  • Paper Mario: Sticker Star

Not sure if that last one is genuinely considered disliked yet, but I hear a lot of people are dissapointed with it because they did away with a traditional leveling system (as a long time PM fan, the original is one of my favorite JRPGs, I really enjoyed Sticker Star).

-Super Mario Sunshine (a modern classic that broke the platforming norm, Bowser Jr. and F.L.U.D.D. FTW.)

-Rogue Squadron III (still has amazing graphics when compared to most Wii games, I LOVE playing the 3rd-person shooting segments, they're very fun and arcade-y.)

-Batman Begins (a beautiful game for its time, intense stealth segments, fun driving stages, and lots of replayablility despite some minor control flaws.)

-Spider-Man (a thoughrally fun game overshadowed by SM2. Despite camera issues, it has a certain appeal that brings you back, also love all the alt. costumes and the unlockable Green Goblin version of the game; a very entertaining bonus. That's something TASM game [kinda] did right with the Lizard DLC, which I look forward to playing on Wii U.)

Maybe it was more underrated than disliked, but I feel that the controls in Cursed Mountain were not nearly as bad as people made them out to be. It is still a game well worth playing, and despite it's flaws it's still one of my favorite games for the Wii.

Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards - Admittedly, my judgement on this game will always be biased since it was my first Kirby game, but I still love the combo powers gimmick. And the music. And the visual style. And the everything.
Luigi's Mansion - I've always really liked this game, although sometimes I feel like it's been called "underrated" so often that it's almost slightly overrated.
Super Mario 64 DS - I think I'm one of maybe five people that enjoyed this game more than the original Super Mario 64. And I loved the original.
I don't feel like I've picked games that are truly disliked by many people, though. At worst, some people thought they were underwhelming.

whoever didn't love Luigi's Mansion and SM64D need to have a strongly worded letter sent to them

This is a signature.
I mentioned signatures, which makes this a meta-signature,

Hence, this signature is infinitely meta. Does Meta-Knight have a self-awareness of his own name?

Yeah, Rogue Squadron 3 when first released was considered the worst game of that series and I have no idea why. I mean, the rare on-foot sections weren't good but everything else was as good as 2 with the bonus of a lot more gameplay variety/vehicles. Also, it had the old arcade games and THE ENTIRETY OF ROGUE SQUADRON 2 IN CO-OP. That latter part still amazes me, how many game companies put their entire previous game with an addition to it in the sequel for free?

Wow how could I forget to mention ALL of RS2's inclusion, AND the old arcade games? That seriously shows how great of a company Factor 5 was; giving you as much content as they possibly could fit onto that tiny GC disc.

Still wish RS4 was made... sigh

Kid Icarus Uprising
Super Paper Mario
Metroid Prime 2

I've played worse games than these three, but unlike these three, I didn't expect much from such games. Of the above three, Uprising's probably the one I dislike the most, just because of how uninterested I was to continue playing after completing a new chapter a couple of days ago. Super Paper Mario and Metroid Prime 2, the latter which I have beaten, may just be a matter of sitting down with them again.

Oh, I just thought of another one.

Love Plus. People don't like it because apparently it's a pervert's game and such and such.

Of course I've actually played it, which puts me at a significant advantage everyone that criticises it for something that it isn't.
