Also, do we need another PSA about not stooping to someone else's level when you think someone is trolling? Because people are mobbing users again, and some of them aren't even trolls. I don't want to name names, but some people are acting way worse than trolls in their attempts to lynch the trolls...and it's really hurting the atmosphere of this place.

Really? I haven't seen any of that recently, but if people are attacking someone over and over again it can always be reported.

I'm talking about within the last two month or so. I mean, just look at the Amiibo Profit (or whatever it was called) thread, or other supposed "Troll threads". This stuff comes and goes here, I'll admit, but half the time it only goes away when the mods have to step in...I just can't believe we're having this crap during the holidays, man.

And yes, technically a lot of it is within the bounds of the rules, but it's still often goes against common courtesy, where people derail threads and/or single out people as trolls - again, even when they might not be, but regardless, there's little reason to derail a thread like that. I'd rather not go too deep into this right now, though.

Modding is a thankless, awful job. I appreciate the ones we have very much. Think carefully before volunteering.

I mean I do, but at the same time I'd end up messing up. xD

Then again I could just be one of those mods that just deals with this kind of stuff. (like, spamming in general, or someone who's using abusive language, since I've came across those kinds of people before here. >. >)

And let's not forget about the countless spambots that are overrunning the forums...it's really annoying and is ruining the community.

Honestly I rarely see those on here, unless they post more on the articles and not the forums.

That's because I keep reporting them.
I see 10 - 20 spam threads everyday in the Wii U eshop forum...

I remember a while back say six months ago it was spam posting in the articles and I would seek them all out and report them. Nothing like seeing a lame advertising spot fill up the news stories.

We did have a celebration party after the troll was killed by our beloved mods.
