I've wondered, if this site's been around since 2006, what did it look like? Did it look similar to the layout today, or was is dramatically different? If anyone has any screenshots of the original site, that would be awesome

I was around for VC Archive. Before everything got too commercialised. Just a small bunch of gamers with a fondness for retro gaming on the Wii. No forum, no accounts, just pages for each game released on the VC with news articles for each new VC release and that was it.
For you, the day LordJumpMad graced your threads, was the most important day of your life. But for me, it was Tuesday. [url=http://www.backloggery.com/jumpmad]Unive...
@JumpMad I can't wait! I really hope they change the name though. Revolution seems kind of...corny. Oh well. That 4GB hard drive for the DS looks cool too.

Ehn, so long as they don't change it to a name that'll make everyone laugh for a year or two, I'm happy.

I remember finding VC reviews, then I somehow found Wiiware revews through that. I went to the site fairly frequently to read the reviews and see the news. Then the murger occurred and everyone was confused. Soon after I decided to join.

I had read Nintendo Life even before I joined VC-Reviews and later moved over to WiiWare-World. We just kinda combined them all together to make one super site.

This, although I didn't register until VC-Reviews and WiiWare World merged into Nintendo Life.
The way things are now is quite convenient (thus my decision to finally register), but I kinda miss the quietness and closeness of the older websites.
So how long until Movemodo and Nintendo Life merge into one big general gaming site?
I think it would be better if Nintendo, Sony, Microsoft, whatever else were kept together. Potential trolls are more likely to travel between sub-forums than websites. I also never knew about NL before the merge; not that I can recall anyhow.

I seem to remember seeing the original Nintendo Life back when news of the Wii began tearing the web apart. However, I didn't really get into Nintendo Life until the announcement of the Nintendo DSi.
@TBD, I can see why you like archive.org so much. It's like a time capsule of sorts! How sweet is that?
