Oh man, I normally really dislike the idea of preorders, but I may go ahead and preorder this one because I sadly missed out on the chances to own my own deathbracelet from the first two games. And it would probably be a good idea to cement the fact that there is demand for this game as well, considering how much of a problem it had with funding because of perceived lack of appeal in the first place. (Then again, I think the big problem was specifically a lack of Japanese appeal - still, the game devs should know that the Western audience will still be strong enough to justify the purchase as well!)

My understanding is that the series has sold quite well in the West, and that the majority of the attention it has received has been from the West. Even the concept art and initial game announcement seemed much more Western-focused this time around. Aksys even said something to the effect that the project was restarted because of intense dedication and attention from the series' Western fans. Operation Bluebird seems to have been successful after all.

If you want the bracelet, go ahead and preoder on Amazon. It's not like preordering at GameStop, where they take your money up-front. On their books, they have you down as a sale, but they actually take your money when the game ships out to you; I.E. when your game is no longer in their hands. It's how Nintendo saw that people REALLY wanted Xenoblade in English. Thousands upon thousands of people put their money where their mouth is on Amazon, when the game was still Monado: Beginning of the World.
Preordered the limited version since I really want a Zero Escape watch. I'm in the UK, so I doubt they'll sell the limited edition here. I don't have a Vita or an America 3DS (stupid region locking) so I might have to buy this game twice.
The wait is killing me for this. Watched a let's play to garner some semblance of a new playthrough (after all, the other player will at least react to crazy plot twists, right?). I needed this game yesterday.
Best thread ever

I'm trying to beat 999 at the moment. It's difficult, because it doesn't have a progress tree like in Virtue's Last Reward.
Then I need to go on to Virtue's Last Reward - maybe I'll start the file again. I didn't get very far any way.
I've been on a massive Layton tip lately (I managed to beat Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask after a long break), and am in the mood for some puzzles. So when ZE3 does come around, I'll be ready for it. I hope I'll be able to get a physical copy to go with my other two.

Yeah, unfortunately I ended up doing the same ending twice because I didn't look things up. And you arguably need a walkthrough to get the best endings.
I'm convinced everyone should use a walkthrough when it comes to fulfilling the obtuse requirements for getting the true ending. It's not like the requirements are super-spoilery or anything, and the game's design discourages experimentation, unlike VLR.
It looks brutal. I'm glad they didn't tone it down one bit like VLR.
NX at E3, Kirby: Planet Robobot and this game all in June, I don't think I can handle it!
This blue eye perceives all things conjoined. The past, the future, and the present. Everything flows and all is connected. This eye is not merely seen reality. It is touching the truth. Open the eye of truth... There is nothing to fear.

Yeah. As much as I adore VLR and its more contemplative, science-fictioney vibe, I did miss the sheer intensity and terror of 999's much more horrifying narrative. ZTD looks to be addressing that.
I picked up VLR cheaply recently. Still waiting to find a decent deal on 999 though, as obvs I want to play these games in order, but really tempted to try VLR as it's sitting on my shelf, beckoning me.
You guys had me at blood and semen.
What better way to celebrate than firing something out of the pipe?
