Topic: When do you want the 3ds to be released and what games do you most want at launch?

Ideally it would release next week
I'm having my grad party tomorrow so I'll have tons of cash to spend (some of which is probably going towards a PS3).
As for ideal launch titles, I would think Animal Crossing and Ocarina of Time. Both have a huge amount of replay value, which is big in my book.

lol, I am not 5, I dont expect those to be launch titles~ price and date i do hope for though. I am expecting Kid Ic, Paper Mario and Ridge Racer to be launch titles though.

They said it'd be released within a year or by March. They didn't say it'd be released specifically in March. November could happen, though it seems doubtful with few titles visibly far along and Nintendo still working out details like for the 3D movie program.

Yea, I mean it's anybodies guess, no one is right or wrong yet just fun thinking of when it fill finally debut. But damn do I want one, now.

When do I want it released? What a stupid question. Who wouldn't want it released right now? As far as games go, I really don't care, as long as we get OoT

Custom Robo 3D. If they make that I will buy the console day 1, if possible.

It'll probably turn out better if it was released in March. Kid Icarus, Pilotwings, Starfox, Ocarina of Time and Paper Mario will probably be released at launch.

I doubt you'll see more than 2 big first-part headliners at launch. Kid Icarus is a given, for it looks to be near completion, and perhaps Pilotwings or something else, but many people here are in for a disappointment if you expect all these games they just showed as tech-demo teasers (OoT remake, Mario Kart, etc) to be released within the first 6 months of the console. In fact, I'd say that probably the majority of what they showed won't appear until the holidays of 2011, and some even later.

They weren't promising a new Mario Kart, OoT, Paper Mario, or even Star Fox right out of the gate, they were just showing what they're working on and planning. Most of these look to be in the conceptual stages at best, and a long way off from release.

In fact, what we were shown was really just a glimpse at the first 2 - 3 years of the console's life. Even if they could somehow bring all these games to completion in the next 9 months (which they most certainly cannot), it would be stupid to release them on top of one another, competing for buzz and sales. They'll space out all the big games just as they always have, and give 3rd party titles a chance to breathe as well.

I'd prefer it to be released later rather than sooner. If I get one I'll be trading in my DSi for it, even if there isn't a transfer solution. I'm not too fussed about the games I have on there, never bought much on it. Chances are, even with a trade-in, I won't be getting it anywhere near launch. I lack money. I'll get it once it's been out for a few years.

I'm hoping before Christmas, and right now the only game I'm really wanting is Paper Mario. I'll keep an eye on OoT and Mario Kart...but yeah.

Those are the only two games I got My Hopes for.

I'm thinking it'll be December in Japan and April worldwide, or at least NA. I think they'll not be releasing too many games at launch, as it's backwards compatible with DS games, which will likely have some big titles coming out at the same time, don't want to steal their own thunder, have to give games a chance to sell before you release another, etc... So just Kid Icarus 3D at launch, I think. Other games will come closely after launch, though. Likely Nintendogs + Cats 3D within a week.

What I want is to be able to mail my DSi in for a 3DS next week and have whatever Nippon Ichi games they whip up with their devkit come with it. Sadly, that can't happen.

I want it to come out yesterday.
I NEED OoT to come out at launch.
I also want Paper Mario and Animal Crossing to be launch titles.

Probably about around Febuary and not because my Birthday is in feb....I'd like to give Nintendo a chance to perfect it, get arid of glitchs etc, because once they start mass production you would never know what might happen.

I hope a kirby game comes out soon as well, one of my favorite characters- lol I would also enjoy a remake of kirbys dream course.
