Do you have to have a Mexican 3ds or just set location to Mexico for that?

I have a normal american 3DS with its location set to Mexico (tip: click my username). I don't think there's such a thing as a "mexican 3DS" lol.

So basically all I have to do is change my location to Mexico then buy it for like $2?

Yeah, but you'd need to add funds in Mexican Pesos. The shop won't convert your wallet's contents to pesos, it will open another wallet for you in pesos.

My favourites so far:

  • Zenonia (DSiWare, $7.99) - despite its linear and not particularly original plot, a cool RPG with pleasant pixel graphics, lots of items to collect and forge
  • Pushmo ($6.99) - played in short bursts, the sound effects going with the push/pull motions are surprisingly satisfying
  • Tetris (VC, $3.99) - one of those classics where simplicity is better, still fun despite the lack of coloured visuals

I have been so tempted to buy Zenonia. I would love to play it with a controller instead of on-screen controller. My issue is that Zenonia is .99 cents in the android and apple market and 7.99 in the Eshop. it looks to be worth it everyone who has it loves it. I'm just being cheap

Still playing 3DS but will have Switch soon for multiplayer with friends. I miss you guys! Adam, Joni, Gavin and the rest of the Blue Rogues from the Phantasy Star Zero Days.

KarrotMan

$4.99 or under huh? Let's see:

3dsware

  • Bloody Vampire

Virtual Console

  • Mega Man 2(soon to be replaced by MM3)

DSiware

  • Undead storm

Fancy a Karrot Cake?

Yeah, I agree the price difference between iOS/Android and eShop is a bit annoying. I got it on iOS shortly after it was first released and it was $6.99 then. Since then it's gone on sale occasionally ($3.99) until it went to $0.99 with the sequels released. My only little gripe is that the DSiWare port could've made better use of the touch screen for managing inventory, but I much prefer the DS/3DS physical controls over the virtual d-pad, it was worth paying for it again to play it on 3DS.

It's looking less likely by the day they'll bring the sequels to the eShop, but still hoping.

I don't think Zenonia is worth 8 bucks.

It's a buggy RPG that relies on the RL buttons (which we all know have a tendency to break), has a lot of typos and features seemingly unfinished music and sequences.
Yes, there's fun to be had, but you could as well download it to your cellphone for 1 dollar or less.

@JT: Yeah, as far as I know only that one Hello Kitty game has that error. It's kinda strange because they don't seem to want to fix it either.

Thanks so much for the heads up. I will keep my eyes open for a price drop. Another game that always catches my eye is Crystal Monsters which to me looks like a pokemon clone. the Video looks real good. Has anyone played the Cheapy Crystal Monsters is it worth getting?

Mega Man 3.

I'd have to go with Photo Dojo (DSiware, $1.99). It doesn't have a lot of replayability, but it's so much fun putting all your friends in the game. I wish they'd do a 3D sequel and let you store more than 8 fighters at a time.

Mutant Mudds

Currently Playing: Yakuza Kiwami 2 (SD)

Has anyone played Crystal Monsters or Legends of Exidia Ive been thinking of getting one of these cheapies although Legends of Exidia isn't all that cheap for old DSiWare

Mutant mudds, a hard game but very much so satisfying.

MeWario

It's not for everybody, but, Mutant Mudds is excellent.

It's Wario time Yaahhhhhhhhhhhhh!

Zeldalover

Gunman Clive gets the vote for this one.

I also agree that Mega Man 2 and 3 are the best $5 purchases. The replay value...

DefHalan

Mutant Mudds is fun but is expensive. Gunman Clive is the best 2 bucks I spent on the eShop

People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...
