I'd be so cool to get a 'party' system going like Xbox LIVE :3

1. The ability to run DSi games from the SD card. I'd own a lot more DSi games if my system wasn't almost full (whereas my 16GB card has lots of free space), and it's not worth the effort to delete and re-download them for me. There are some great $2 games!

2. Online management of my eShop purchases. I should be able to transfer them to a different system if my 3DS gets stolen or destroyed. I guess if it breaks you can send it to Nintendo, but that doesn't work if you don't have the system any more. The recent wildfire that destroyed hundreds of homes in my city (fortunately not mine) is making me rethink my purchases of eShop games as those games and money would never be recovered.

ESSENTIAL AND MOST WANTED

  • Ability to do "link cable" multiplayer with all Game Boy VC games with multiplayer.
  • Flipnote Memo - The only thing DSi has that the 3DS is still missing since Swapnote replaced Pitcochat. Although it wouldn't be part of a system update, it'd be part of an eShop update.

ALSO WANTED BUT NOT AS ESSENTIAL

  • Gifting - I loved the idea of this on Wii, they should bring it back to the eShop.
  • Youtube app - Like with Flipnote, I would be part of an eShop update, not a system update.

I'D WANT BUT NOT LIKELY TO HAPPEN AT ALL

  • Pallete upgrades for GB games - After you download the original, make it so you can add GBC palettes to it for an extra 1-2$.
  • Ability to play DSiware from an SD card - They could make an app that you download from the eShop on to the SD card that let's you play DSiware right from there.

The ability to run DSi games off a SD cards. Every time you move a DSI game from system memory to an SD card you lose the save data. very annoying

Reopen the Wii Shop Channel

What if you had a second FC and you could voice chat with someone? Kinda like the swapnote feature but directly from the friends list, and when you get it your game will pause (unless online) and you'll get the message.

My SD Card with the game on it is just as physical as your cartridge with the game on it.
I love Nintendo, that's why I criticize them so harshly.

What are you talking about. Its annoying yes but when a DSiWare game is copied into the SD card and then back to the system, the save data is intact just fine. At least it is on my system...

Video Chat app, but that's more of a new eShop thing...
Ability to change Folder colors.
Longer Friend List messages.
The ability to "Join Game" with EVERY online game. It works well with Mario Kart 7, but I haven't had success trying to do this with Kid Icarus and it just doesn't work for Resident Evil Revelations.

That's it really. Everything else is more eShop apps and stuff that has to be added to newer games or DLC.

Yeah, but I think there were a few games that didn't copy your save — maybe it was ones with online content, since that seemed to be the rule on the Wii? I don't ever remember having the problem with my DSiWare, but I'm sure I heard other people complain about it.

I was going to say voice chat, but maybe that'll be available through MiiVerse. If Wii U has it would be nice not to have to drag my Wii U around the house to talk with my pals.

Yeah, you'll need a Vita for YouTube. Or an iPhone, or an Android, or a tablet.

Oh no, the 3DS is such a terrible system for not supporting what an Ipad or Vita can do.

Just for you.

I always got my iPhone for youtube but in game chat and a party system would never be a bad thing right?

The 3DS need to start DSi game from the SD card... There's some game I didn't buy because of there's no more space on it and don't want to transfert game everytime I want to play...
And (even if I know it won't happen) a way to get pink piece in an other way than via StreetPass... Every StreetPass I've got so far didn't even have one...

Sorry if my english isn't good... At least I try :-)
