You guys do realize Destructoid is one of the harshest websites when it comes to the Vita, right?

One thing I love about Destructoid is the equally ridicule all consoles heavily.
And yeah, what they did was for views, but hey, at least it's not a lie if you don't count both versions of the 3DS as the same device (which they sort of are).

It's different in the gaming community though. Eurogamer did something similar a month back and they got called out for it. The eventually apologized and edited their article.
Eh, I don't think it's that big a problem - it's not like they're lying about it. Everybody who reads that article can figure out for themselves what they mean, and the numbers for all consoles are reported.
Misleading? Perhaps. I don't really think it's an issue though.

It's Destructoid, I don't really think extremely misleading headlines is that surprising coming from them. The garner about the same respect from me as IGN.

Well maybe you can except that but I am going to be honest, that is one of the most outright misleading headlines I've seen on a gaming article. It's practically just lying, they way it's worded would suggest they are talking about the 3DS in general, which includes all his models. No person is thinking it specifically outsold the original model when they look at that headline. Maybe you can accept that a fair game, but for me even in terms of misleading titles, even ones on this very site, that's just practically blatant lying.
Wouldn't care if it actually did outsell the 3DS as a whole, it's just one week

I don't really see what the problem here is. It's not like people are going to be clicking on this link like crazy. It's not outright lying; it's just deceptive. Also, I've seen stuff that is waaaaay worse then this; just look at anything by Huffington Post and you'll see what I mean.
And quite frankly, it's not like this is highlighting something bad. For once the Vita isn't sucking, and I can't really see that as a bad thing.
Also, for the record, the headline is "PS Vita tops hardware in Japan thanks to Hatsune Miku", not "PS Vita outsells 3DS". They aren't lying at all.

In all honestly I really not that upset, it's just a little annoying. I know judging by the way I wrote it you might think I am raging behind the screen but trust me, I am not. It's more about just the extremely misleading nature of the title of the article. I don't care if the article is praising or insulting the Vita, the title is just too misleading, even for just a headline. It's not like it's keeping me up at night or something. I don't like Destructoid, so that might be contributing to my annoyance as well. Even the Capcom story on NL wasn't misleading this bad, and honestly in that case it's how you look at it and more debatable. I don't think Capcom was saying the Wii U isn't next gen. If want to know more about my take on that got to the comments section.

Weird isn't that miku game the same miku game that came out for PSP in 2009 and for the 3DS back in FEb? Sorry it just seems weird to sell a lot of a game that's a re remake or a port for the 2nd time or whatever

Major SKUs. The two Vita versions are basically the same. That's also why they don't seperate the current PS3 versions. They did seperate the Fat and Slim versions until the Fat stopped selling, and they seperate the PSP and the PSPGo, however.
