Topic: not a TWEWY sequel ;____;

Not sure if this has been posted already but I'll carry on anyway.
Today Andriasang posted a link to the teaser website for Tetsuya Nomura's latest game:
While there is no confirmation, it's pretty darn obvious that it is somehow related to TWEWY:
-Countdown is in the same font as the timer in TWEWY
-Parts of various TWEWY songs can be heard in the background
So what do you guys think? A potential TWEWY sequel?

Yes.

If that's not a TWEWY sequel I don't know what it is. I'd even consider this too obvious honestly, not much of a teaser when you can guess what it is in an instant.

Square Enix are pretty unpredictable so I'm concerned it might not come to the 3DS. Not that it matters really, I'll buy any console just to play it.

I'd be extremely surprised if it's not a 3DS title..

Yeah, I have my fingers crossed that it'll be a 3DS game, or I'd settle for a Wii U game.
Ideally it'd be a 3DS game with very similar gameplay with the original as it worked really well with the dual screens.

Going to try not to get too excited though, just in case it ends up just being a disappointment. D:

If this is TWEWY sequel then it will be 3DS. Once this comes out I'll finally have a reason to own a 3DS.

I really hope its a 3DS game. I have no intentions of owning a WiiU. Also, I'd love it if they made a Pikmin game for the 3DS as well, since I feel that I'm missing out on that...

last i knew you already own a 3DS, and your reason for doing so was because it was the Zelda edition?

Would be nice if they used a tweaked version of the Kingdom Hearts: DDD engine for this game. That game looks really good.

@19Robb92 Honestly, I'd rather they kept it 2D with 3D animation in the cutscenes. I thought the first game looked really good with the animation style, and Fire Emblem proves that over-the-top type camera style can look beautiful for the battle scenes, and the 2D animation style superimposed over some of the battle scenes looks amazing. Probably the only time Fire Emblem doesn't look good is in the dialogue scenes themselves, the ones between battles. 3D animated characters looking really stiff, when the 2D animation looks so beautiful. This game's developers need to take notes.
