we never got an SD card menu for the dsi so why would it come to the 3DS. i know games will be directly downloaded onto your SD card directly from the 3DS shop. but what im wondering is if it will be simular to the one on wii?

They probably wouldn't release one for the DSi because of the scheduled short lifespan and they're already including a 2gb sd card with the 3DS so I think they're pushing it. They need it more for Apps and stuff like pictures and music.

If you mean an SD card menu like what the Wii has, I doubt there will be one. The 3DS appears to be designed to integrate the SD card into itself similarly to the PSP with its memory sticks...you plug the card in and any relevant information appears in the proper places on the regular menu.

My Backloggery Not in common use, but I update with relevant friend codes. Look them up there.

Thought it was already confirmed but I haven't the slightest idea of where I saw it.

considering it's been confirmed that we'll be able to run games directly ..., i'd imagine there would have to be some sort of SD card menu. idk if it'll be graphically similar to that of the Wii, but i can't see it working as promised without one.

Be cool if it was integrated like the PSP's.

There can only be one, like in that foreign movie where there could only be one, and in the end there is only one dude left, because that was the point.

I'd like to see the SD menu as a extension of the regular menu.

Yet another opportunity to point out that the 3DS is a portable Wii with 3D graphics. Though they did say it'd run game directly off the SD card, and the Wii doesn't do that, it has to copy the game into the system memory first, so there might actually be a difference there. We'll just have to wait and see.

I couldn't resist the urge.
On a serious note, it will most likely be akin to that of the Wii.

As long as I don't have to swap games around every time I want to play a game not on my DS I'll be happy.

Since we haven't seen an SD card menu button, it's likely that SD card content will just be integrated into the menu as if they were on the device itself. This makes a heck of a lot more sense than having them separated into an SD card menu imo. Especially when Nintendo is pushing the use of SD cards so heavily.
