I registered my game about 1.5 hours ago and didn't get anything, but I contacted Nintendo (1800-255-3700) and I just got an email confirming my order has been placed.

I finally got through the phone lines and a very nice lady took my information and told me I would be receiving a call in the next couple days regarding the CD. It took many tries to finally get though since so many people are calling about this problem but after I finally got in I was met with great customer service! Sony could take a few lessons here. I called their customer support one time about a PSP and got a very VERY rude woman. Nothings worse than having a problem with a company and then on top of it all, being spoken to in a rude way when you complain about it. Anyway, anyone having this problem should just keep calling until they get the normal automated menu.
Nice. Just got off the phone with Nintendo. After the third call was able to speak to someone and got the issue resolved in less than 5 Minutes. The person was really nice that I spoke to also. This is why I love Nintendo.
While on hold they play the Mario theme song and that made me laugh.
My condolences to those of you that are having trouble ordering. That's gotta be a pain. >__>
Luckily I don't need such condolences, I had no trouble, the soundtrack is miiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiine hehehe

There can only be one, like in that foreign movie where there could only be one, and in the end there is only one dude left, because that was the point.
So i registered mine this morning around 11:15 am EST and did not receive any pop up or notification about any soundtrack so I called nintendo and they said they had over 50,000 people register it. That was before 11:30 am EST. so they took all my info and around an hour ago i got a confirmation email about the order The CD is backordered though so it will be awhile before i receive it.
3DS Friend Code: 0044-2800-9152
_games i got________________ Super Street Figter IV 3D Pilotwings Resort Super Monkey Ball 3D LoZ: Ocarina of Time 3D
games im gonna get_______ Mario Kart 3D Paper Mario 3D Kid Icarus Uprising Luigi's Mansion 2...
I just registered mine (approx. 8:00 PM EDT). I did not get a popup when I registered using Safari on Mac. I had to call Nintendo (1-800-255-3700 just for reference is Ninty's service #).
They are still reserving CDs for people who call, and once I got through (took 3-4 tries) it took about 5 min. to get my order in. I received a confirmation email a couple minutes later. I would have been super disappointed if I couldn't get the CD, seeing as I don't even have a 3DS yet. I will get one, and I can't wait to play OoT on it, but I can't justify dropping $250 until I get a job that's full time/permanent. $40, on the other hand, for a game that won't drop in price ever and a free CD. Yeah, you got me.
I was really impressed at how quickly this game sold out. I got the last copy at my Target, and they NEVER sell out.
Hey, people are getting their confirmation e-mails already? Even people who registered and called to complain HOURS after I did (like Token_Girl)? No fair! I want MY confirmation e-mail!

The guy I spoke with wasn't even sure if I'd get a confirmation email, and said that if I didn't get one, it wasn't a big deal. If you called and got your order resolved over the phone, I wouldn't worry about it too much.

Yeah, it's probably not an issue. I'd still feel a bit better if I got the e-mail, though.
Amusingly, the Nintendo rep commented that I have more games than he does when he was looking at my account. Doesn't happen very often, he said. Perhaps that's because the hyper-game-nerds don't need to call customer service as often as the newbies? Either way, I thought it was cool.

[16:43] James: I should learn these site rules more clearly
[16:44] LztheBlehBird: James doesn't know the rules? For shame!!!
Sounds like it means you have until midnight, Pacific Time, tomorrow to register your code. That's good, people who for some reason try to register after the service lines close today (esp. an issue for West Coasters) will have a chance to get things sorted tomorrow.
If you have registered your code, but haven't gotten your CD order confirmed through the website or over the phone, I'd try to resolve that by midnight tomorrow. However, they'd probably work with people who called in after that (especially on Tuesday), as long as the game was registered by the deadline.
