Topic: Registering for OoT soundtrack on NA Club Nintendo

eh ok guess i can only hope that i get the cd after refreshing the club site so many times just to get the login to work etc which was before between 12 am to 1 am i think after arriving an hour too early before the store open lol

@Token: it says to give them 7 days for an e-mail confirmation to arrive in your inbox. I wouldn't bother calling until those 7 days had passed with no e-mail, lol — Club Nintendo records the date when you register things and receive coins for them, after all. since it's changed from 'the first people to register, limited quantity, blah-blah-blah' to 'register by midnight Pacific time on the 20th', the only people who really need to worry would be registering their games well after the phone lines had closed for the day (e.g. later tomorrow night). :3

Dunno if anyone posted this yet or now, but they just posted on Facebook saying because of the issues of the whole soundtrack deal, they're extending the offer.

My technique was to call Nintendo 1 hour after you send the email.

You know I'm kind of shocked. When they said it was limited and you could order it come the 19th I just figured it was a start date, not a start and END date. Maybe it was in fine print I didn't bother reading as I intended to get the game today, but that's amazing they printed so few of them, and that due to screw ups they're honoring the deal an added 24hours to keep buyers happy.

As my old post said it worked fine for me registering it, and due to the fears here I just checked my order panel and it shows it is ordered with quantity one and being processed so I'm locked in. I guess I may have to retire my N64 Zelda OOT soundtrack I've had all these years.

I was going to try and get the soundtrack but I just got an error message saying; the PIN you entered has already been registered. Each PIN may only be registered once. Has anybody else recieved this error message or is it just me? What's the off chance that somebody actually did register my code on accident? Well I know that what I put in is exactly as its written and I've tried 3 times getting the same error message. That's probably 40 less coins I'll be getting.

EDIT: I went back to it and the error message was still there but it didn't even go into the survey. I looked at my to-do list and it OOT 3d was there (Yay!) so maybe there website is experiencing issues.

This offer is also open to Australian owners of the game until July 31st.

Midnight on the 20th technically means Monday morning rather than Monday night so the offer should be over, but they make it sound like they are extending the offer and it's not over, so do they actually mean Monday night then I wonder?

I'm really surprised over 50,000 people in NA bought the game on day 1 and knew to register it for the soundtrack! I hope a bunch of people didn't go and buy multiple copies to order multiple CDs and sell them on eBay.

I got the screen to sign up for the Soundtrack CD after registering Zelda (using Chrome) but for some reason it just wouldn't accept my address! Drove me nuts for about half an hour, then decided to send them an email explaining what was happening, or rather not happening. But I'm not sure if I'll ever hear anything from them, if not I'll resort to other means.

I just got my confirmation e-mail today as well as a nice reply from NoA's customer service (i'd sent them an e-mail when i wasn't able to register, before the extension was announced). hooray! :3

So any of you going to use it or save it for collection purposes? I want to use it and listen to the music all day, but my cousin wants me to not open it and save it. I'm just going to listen to it.

I'm guessing they aren't going to go with the whole "Limited" ordeal any more because of their error. I'm just one of the lucky lucky (very lucky) few who did not get any errors.

Are you guys all getting "backordered" under order status?

Everything has been sorted out and I'm now on track to getting my CD! I'm very happy that it turned out not to be too much of a hassle. and yes pandalicious, mine also is showing as "backordered" but I don't care. As long as I'll get it eventually then I'm good
