Topic: New Heroes of Ruin Trailer

Pretty excited for the game, it's an action RPG with 4 player online Co-op, and quite possibly voice chat. What do you guys think?

Looks good and voice chat was confirmed. I can see it being one of my go to 3DS games when I want to kill time.

Looks pretty awesome and an online game that isn't from Capcom. Looks like voice chat is confirmed too which'll be awesome. I think the thing that peaked my interest was the 80,000+ armors, weapons, items etc. in the game. The graphics look quite jagged though, but I'm sure it looks better on the actual 3DS screen. I want this, I get a Monster Hunter vibe from it.

This looks fantastic. I might even be most excited about this game overall compared to all others. Now if only anyone I know would actually buy a 3DS...

It's online Co-op though not just local, or does your situation not allow you to play online with your 3DS?

Oh I will definitely still play online if nobody I know is playing, I just think it makes a big difference when you know them personally.

I take it I'm the only one who am now worried about this game, then?

It looks like a Gameloft game. Same chunky polygon work, same slow, clunky attack animations. It reminded me more of Hero of Sparta than anything else.

Online and 80,000 weapons is a nice touch but.... I expected higher quality production values from a game Square Enix is attaching its name to.

Oh well, back to waiting for Chocobo racing.

Whoever created that trailer needs a promotion. I've never even heard of this game before, but after watching that, I'm sold! It looks like it will be an epic adventure full of loads of fun! I'm definitely keeping my eye on this one. When is it going to be released? Please don't say 2012...

it reminds me champions of norath mixed with diablo. great stuff.
it might not look as stylish as im used to with squaresoft, but i dont mind. its still under developpment, so if its clunky or jagged, its something to worry about. yet.

I will pick this up if I have any money left after buying all the 1st party titles.
It looks amazing so far, but yeah... feels more like an IOS Gameloft game at the minute but still good.

Still plenty of time to polish the graphics between now and early 2012.
