Thanks for hunting @Iggly, and for helping with the armor set. I was getting hit hard, even by the little Gendrome lol. NO WAY I coulda handled that Pink Ian in my LR Gore/Ceanataur armor, even leveled up as it was. I went ahead and gemmed in Wide Range (cost me a downgrade of Defense Up Large to Medium) and registered as a set for use online, figure that's a good skill to have when playing with others. I know you healed me on more than one occasion...

Well, HR4 is a wrap, on to HR5 it is. I'm further along online than in my single player. I've got some catching up to do!

Guys I'm addicted to Meowster Hunter.....damn. I'm just doing harvest tours just so that I can continue with meowster...

I'm just getting into bow, as a blademaster, and it's really cool. The arrows feel really impactful.

How to grind Meownster Hunter:
1. Choose the "Deliver 1 Well-done steak" mission
2. Bring a well-done steak
3. Complete mission in 5 seconds
4. ???
5. NYA!

You even get your steak back from the quest rewards!

It was fun hunting with you @JaxonH, though I definitely got stun combo'd a lot from the Purple Gypceros while you were bug hunting for your Tetsucabra armor.

Lol, yeah that thing was worse than the Pink Ian! Man I hate that thing, flapping it's arms and charging while spitting poison everywhere, even that little elephant tail was swatting me to the ground... I'm like, really? Taken out by that little stringy tail?

I really need to upgrade my stuff, I only upgraded my Kinsect once, but I'm still running around in my default armor, minus the jaggi headgear. And since I just fought the Sharq quy, I really felt I needed better stuff So I was thinking about either Basarios or the Kut-Ku. I couldn't find the quest of these monsters, and then I found out they are only in expeditions?

Does anyone else find using the older 3ds with the cpp is more comfortable then using the new 3ds with the nub? The nub is not giving me the same level of precision as the circle pad pro.

Not me. The camera is still, for some stupid reason, digital. Not only that, but you can't even input a diagonal like you could in 3U. I imagine it would be even harder to do the quick movements needed to aim diagonally on the CPP. The C Stick has been really accurate for 4U.
That is, unless you're talking about the Hori Monster Hunter Slide Pad. It's a thing of beauty. It's weird at first if you didn't play with a claw in Freedom Unite, but it's extremely useful if you use Bow. Really easy to move, charge, and control the camera at the same time.

I have gotten really good at using the virtual dpad on the touch screen.

Then again, I never use weapons that require aiming.

@FcsevenXIII In all fairness the CPP is suppose to perform better than the nub. However so far my experience with the nub in MH4U is excellent. The nub is an excellent secondary input, but definitely not a replacement for the CPP.(For some game it does replaces it like MH4U and Majora's mask).

@MorphMarron You have my respect. I tried playing the demo with my old 3DS and it is extremely painful to play. It's not only not intuitive, it also seriously hinders my experience to enjoy the game.

Holy crap...I knew Daimyo was annoying because I fought him in Unite...but, geez...a lot of changes here. He took me out twice, thought I was gonna have my first failed quest here. xD

I decided to play MH3U for a change, and oh boy I hadn't realized how bloomy and foggy everything was until I played this one.

Now you'vw got me curious, heh. Too bad I already traded MH3U away.

Just finish more quests, including Hall quests...pretty sure you'll get more songs that way. I dunno since I haven't really bothered with that, lol
