Topic: Monster Hunter 3DS

Wow...the way you put it does make underwater hunting sound bad.
I never actually thought about that "leap of fate"(lol @Viewtiful_Joe) not existing underwater. I didn't notice that until you said it. But I think of it this way: Capcom wanted MH to be more diverse. Everyone is used to hunting on land, and yes it is smoother and faster on land(and easier), but I believe Capcom wanted a change of pace so people could stay interested and would keep thinking a step ahead and stay engaged as opposed to just go in, same armor, same weapon, same items, same thought's. Didn't you feel in the slightest way that fighting the Los or any other monster got kinda of...I wouldn't say old...routine?(help me out here)

Fighting a monster like the Rathalos eventually became a routine easy hunt for me and fighting underwater was a change of pace and made me think differently about what items I was gonna bring and what skills were best and, best of all, made me think about where I was in the map(and I'm also talking y-axis _{which means vertically}). I never thought about where I was situated while I was on land. Underwater hunting calls for a different strategy and requires that you think differently then you do on land. You can't rely on the skills that you have on land at all so you must have two sets of skills which is way more engaging. I can kinda see why that leap of fate thing would be....impossible(sort-of) underwater, so if you are not good at hunting underwater maybe your too used to hunting on land? It may be that you just are not good at it or just hate water altogether, but knowing that dodging isn't your strong point underwater should make you think there must be SOME way around it. What I'm thinking is you should use a weapon with a shield like a lance or GS, be more careful, and pay close attention to where you are on the map. Just change up all of your skills and forget about what it's like on land while underwater because...it just isn't land. You need different strategy.

Please don't take this the wrong way. I'm saying all this because it really makes me sad some people didn't like it. I loved it so much that if it sucked for other people it just pains me. If it really is that you hate it because of the slower pace...than I got nothing. that is preference and each person has there own...it really honestly truly does pain me to hear you guys hated it

....That reminds me, what's this new control scheme they're talking about 3G anyways? Looks the same to me based on the videos...unless they're referring to the Target Lock.

Lol, the manual aiming in these MH games over years have helped in other games like the Yakuza series... <_<

Besides, the design of the CPP is definitely needed to keep your hands comfy after hours of playing.

I heard that Capcom said in some stream that they would release a new trailer on the 7th...but apparently that small commercial was it...and not a real trailer. T.T

Lol I'm gonna use it like crazy. I already have it thought out and everything. I'm just press gonna press L, push forward, and press R.
L to look directly at the target, forward so my hunter can center himself straight at the monster, and R to scope in on my gun. All of this is gonna happen in a fraction of a second so pretty much visualize it and you'll see what I mean.
IDK about the CPP. I might buy it but I think the touch screen and the L-centering will work beautifully...hmm but I do tend to play about 2-4 hours on MH per session....comfy-ness... I think that one factor might convince me to buy it.

what i would love from the new monster hunter game:
like MHF Unite but with new monsters, more color variations, more weapons and armor, and a few more areas to hunt in. online is a must for me since i dont know a single person who plays MH. all the gameplay should stay the same and no underwater battles, freaking hate underwater (unless i have 3 other hunters with me)
but thats what i would like to see in the new monster hunter game. but im sure some people wont like my ideas, but whatever :3

Thats only part 1/3 so feel free to watch the rest if you like, but with that video I saw how good the game looks which is all I need....and even if it is on a bigger screen and is all blown up it STILL looks sexy. It will only look better on the 3DS itself. O_o

Hey now, y'all don't feel too bad if MHTriG never gets localized. People still complain all the time on the Capcom Unity forums about MHP3 being localized, which was released a year ago
_{if it makes you feel any better, out of the 18 MH games released, only 6 were released out of Japan. Which means there are 2 on PS2, 1 on the Wii, 3 on the PSP, 1 on PC, 1 on 360, 1 on teh PS3, 2 on mobile devices and as of now 1 on 3DS which never made it out :3}

I dont give a flying flamingo about whats been localized or not. All I know, is that I want it localized. Capcom isn't doing too well this year and if they want to develop a larger fanbase for MH, then they better localize this game.

I really hope they Localize both for the 3DS.

A portable Tri would be awesome! And being a better version of the one for Wii, it would be worth the money also.
