The Castlevania demo has surprised me and made me think about getting this game now; I love the 3D especially since it has been used very well. For Monster Hunter I had trouble on Easy mode until I started to get the hang of the controls and timed attacks. I'm looking forward to getting Monster Hunter more but I'm still considering getting Castlevania too since the demo has impressed me.
3DS games:
Mario Kart 7
Zelda OoT 3D
Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Shadow Wars
Pokemon Black FC: 2666 2484 8599
Kid Icarus Uprising
Heroes of Ruin
and more.

I downloaded the MH3U demo on my lunch break and completed the first (Easy) Quest! I used the hammer, which is the first weapon I ever used in Tri.... RAAAAAAWRRRRR!!!!
It's amazing having what feels like my Wii game in the palm of my hands and "on-the-go!" The D-pad controls on the touch screen worked wonderfully for me~!!! Which made this gamer happy since he doesn't own a CPP
No Circle Pad Pro support for the Mon Hun Demo! Hooked up my imported XL version and was ready to go! Haha. Oh well....ready for the full version! Great demo though! Looks great!
Sorry for the noob question, but how the hell do you kill that rabbit thing?!
I've fought it using the wooden lance, a smaller sword and a giant one, and I can't do it! I beat it up badly, it maybe retreats a couple times, then I catch up to it and attack it until it starts rolling on its back and drooling, but it won't die! Is there some sort of "finishing" blow I don't know about?

Nope, there isn't any "finishing" blow. Just be patient and plan your attacks accordingly. Use your traps (there are some in the blue chest at the begining) and attack whenever possible, retreat any time it's needed. You should get the hang of it pretty fast.

Uruk is a really fast monster. Using the lance, great sword and switch axe (other big weapons) will make it hard for a first timer to kill it.
Stick with SnS, Dual Swords and long swords, but those don't offer great defense, so you'll need to dodge a lot.
If you don't care about beating it the first few hunts, spend some time studying what it does before it attacks. That way you know how to avoid getting hit.
(also, dont heal unless it's safe to do so.)

The taguel is pretty easy aside from its speed, Plessy wasn't too hard, but I've never had much trouble with underwater monsters. I ran outta time on her though. Is Plessy a she?

Dunno. Seems the best weapon loadout (from what I can tell on the pictures) is the Gunlance as that seems to be a Lagi set with a Lagi GL.
Shame I suck at Gunlances.
Also, for people having trouble with Uruk, use the SnS. It's a Barioth set so you'll have some ice resistance.

(I'm not sure whats in the chest for the Uruk quest). Traps stop the monster for a certain amount of time. Pitfall traps (green) leave only the head exposed and shock traps (purple) leave the whole body exposed. Shock traps also work in the water.
Some monsters are more resistant to some traps. I was able to get two fully charged combos with Plessy (Great Sword) with the Shock trap.
Use them later on, as if they are weaker you can get even more time to get attacks in.
