I still think they should allow regular Game Boy games to be on the Wii's VC through the Super Game Boy or even without. It could even increase sales having the games available for download in more than one location. I suppose it could still happen, but I doubt it.
But that would hurt one of the selling points for the 3DS. Besides there is already plenty of games for the systems that are on the Wii VC that Nintendo can release on the Wii without adding another system.

A Super Game Boy contains real GB (monochrome) hardware, so for a VC release they'd have to simultaneously emulate the SNES and the Game Boy. Considering they won't even put gun/mouse games up...
Though this is highly unlikely, it would be nice to have GB/GBC/GBA games on the Wii. it's a shame that the Gameboy player from the GC didn't work with the Wii.
I play Gameboy/Color/Advance games (occasionally) on Wii through a special method. Stretching isn't a huge deal (since I can change the resolution and whatnot).
Though, I do prefer to play these games on a handheld. I had a GB player but I never really liked using it much. It was cool how some games such as Mario&Luigi SSS had a rumble feature, though.
I just use my GBA SP to play my Gameboy Games and my DS for GBA games. I had the Super Gameboy adapter for the SNES back in the day but I only used it for Pokemon Red since at that time my brother kept stealing my Gameboy so he could play Pokemon Blue.
