@bezerker99 You are right but shortly after that they began charging 50$ for almost all their 3ds games. There was one or 2 that di dnt get that price with Etrian Mystery Dungeon being one of them.

@Ralizah I'd be more interested in Radiant Historia if I had not beat it just over a year ago. Not sure I will pick that one up at all.

Also, what was their last 3ds release? Seems like it's been a while.

@Spoony_Tech SMT IV: Apocalypse last year, I think. Atlus USA has been slaving over Persona 5 since then, which is likely why EO V is taking so long to localize.

@Ralizah I don't know why I forgot that game. I hope we get to see and learn more about SMT V for the Switch and potentially PS4/3.

@Ralizah Don't forget the Caligula Factor (actually, it's best forgotten-- but they still prioritized it over EOV 'cause original Persona director).

@Spoony_Tech My guess is that we won't hear more about SMT V until next year (or possibly at TGS 2017 at the earliest). It's inclusion in the Nintendo Spotlight would certainly thrill me beyond compare, though. I'm expecting Persona 5's engine will be the foundation for all future SMT projects for a good long while.

@CrazedCavalier I've heard that game is pretty short, which probably made for a relatively snappy localization.

I think it was Shin Megami Tensui (sp?) game that was 50 bucks. I do remember one of Atlus' 3DS games had a jacked up price.

@Tsurii Seems like the delay between release in different regions is reasonably small now. Good to hear!

@Tsurii It is for the other two, but Etrian is Fall 2017 for NA, which implies at least a few months difference in release date.

you guys are lucky. The new Altus games will be $54.99 in Canada still. Luckily I get 20% off through Amazon Prime. Will be getting this game and the other two as well.

If you wait awhile to get Atlus games though they go on crazy sale on the eshop later. So there is no need to spend all that money unless you want to get it on release. Although I haven't seen such sales too recently. I bet they will do some around the time these games come out

Well now I do , hopefully some of them will make it westwards then. I'm looking at the CD.

@shaneoh Atlus is pretty good about bringing over the cd's and such and they usually don't charge more for them. They have them available for a limited time as in for the first print run so as long as you pick it up within the first few weeks it would be that version. Of course they could change all that at any time and just release the game only.

Anyway, the Atlus sales seem to have decreased significantly since SEGA acquired them. I wouldn't rely on them having crazy sales like they used to.

Which is fine by me now that the Atlus tax seems to be a thing of the past. I was buying all of Atlus' stuff day one to support them before they went and hiked the prices of all their major games. I'll just go back to doing that now. Their games are incredible and fully worth $40.

I am probably going to pick this one up but I am going to be sore if it's anything like Untold 2. I HATED that game and almost snapped my 3ds because of how unfair it was. Also, those life bars were BS. FOE fights were more of how long your could survive.

@ScytheXero HP bloat was a big complaint about EO2U that I haven't heard about this game, so you're probably good.
