@GrumbleGrumble: That's pretty weird...maybe you should contact Collecting Smiles about that and see if they know anything about it.

@I-U: Yep! You just export a painting to the 3DS Camera and from there you are free to do whatever you'd like with it.

So yeah, if anyone can tell me how much space this program needs freed up on your SD card in order to open up a new painting, please let me know! Still no go ;/ And I have 1 GB freed up on there!

I have purchased this game, and it is around 200-300 blocks of storage, and is very worth it. I even made a review of it, check it out:

I'm trying to figure out how to upload an image from my SD card. I can find a jpg of my painting, but not the "drw" file that the Colors website talks about. I can't upload directly from my 3DS.

I'm loving this app! People are making some cool stuff. The only thing I don't like is that there is no search bar in the online gallery, so you can't search for artists or anything like that. If you happen to run into anything by RR529, that's me!

Just found out that the EU and Australia release date is 19th April. Whoot! (I was afraid we'd have to wait months for this.)

There are no drw files that get export on the 3ds, you have to go to the gallery and set up your account, (or do it on a computer on the colorslive.com website) then sign in on your 3ds and upload from there. Then youll have full access to those files on your computer. All you can do on the 3ds is export a jpg and mpo file (3d file)

Anybody with space issues when there is free space, there might be a problem with your SD card. You better back up your work and try formatting the card on your computer and then put your files back in. If that dosent work, try testing our a new card and see that solves the problem.

Would this game still be enjoyable if your not exactly a "amazing artist"? Because I think it looks pretty fun...

I'm having lots of fun with it, and I have almost no artistic ability.

@Nintengirl: I would say yes. Its just fun to tool around with and you might be surprised what you can make with some dedication. Its also fun to check out other people's work in the gallery.

@Nintengirl: YES. If you enjoyed Flipnote or Swapnote I think you'll really like this app. The ability to watch everyone's painting process on the online gallery is totally worth it. You can pick up some techniques to help you improve and it's just fun seeing people fiddle around with their concept. The more time you put into Colors, the more fun you'll have. At first I was confused and thought the button layout was cramped but I stuck around for another hour and now I'm having a blast.

I've mainly used the tracing picture thing.

I just got this game yesterday and it rocks. Have you seen some of the drawings in the online gallery? Wow. Some of them are so good they look CG quality.

It's an excellent app. But there are some major censoring issues on the online gallery unfortunately.

I dunno if it'll do 3D...but I may look into Art Academy. Because I'm afraid I'll buy this, make crappy drawings...get bored with it and never touch it again. :c

Yeah, the online gallery is admittedly terrible. All that ever gets up there is Pokemon chibis. Mostly awful community too.

Are you sure? I mainly see Peach, Rosalina and Daisy in bikini's or some sort of naked anime roaming around on there. The community is awful and all you see is "can u drw peach n*kd plz?!?!?"

It's an amazing app to use and play around with, but the community is so dirty.

Maybe it's because I have Over 18 pictures off, I'm only 13. But I still see some on there. :T It didn't seem nearly as bad in the first few weeks.

I see, at least you're protected from the naughties.

Has anyone encountered a way to download someone's paintings? Like, per se, it's a coloring page they let you color. Can you not upload it?
