RR529

After a year I'm trying to get back into this. I really want to learn how to draw humans, so I'm starting with some practice face drawings (always been bad with so much detail like the nose, eyes, and I'm absolutely terrible at ears).

You can find my stuff on the gallery under RR529 (same as here), and critique would be much appreciated.

Currently Playing:
Switch - Blade Strangers
PS4 - Kingdom Hearts III, Tetris Effect (VR)

Dat necropost.
Anyway, @RR529 I recommend learning on actual paper first. You have much more control if you're practicing on a wider surface.

I picked this up after upgrading to an XL (I've got bigger, and actually calibrated screens now!) and I am really impressed. I stink at drawing, but this app is so easy to use I've been able to better than I ever thought I could do. It's not like I'm making anything mindblowing, but I am surprising myself by making some pretty decent art. I love how you can replay and download and edit paintings by other people. It's a great way to learn different techniques, and with branching I can try to copy and learn certain techniques they use. Having overlays is also great. Sometimes I use it to trace, but the main reason I love it is because the main reason I bought this was to try and make some art for a pinball game I've been working on, so I can actually use my playfield blueprint as an overlay and get all the art lined up correctly. I am definitely glad I took the plunge and bought it!

I like makin' games!
Future Pinball games!
Petit Computer games!!
and SmileBASIC games!
Waiting for Kirby Air Ride 2. One day, it will come. One day...
