to be honest I never could get into it...its the only super mario game I never completed. I sold it, the only mario game I have sold. I do give nintendo credit though for attempting something different with mario. Anyway heres to a virtual console release of it on wii u.

Re: Feature: Launching a Console Without Mario

I am hoping that wii u launches with a packed in mario game like in the snes and nes games. I remember when you bought a snes and got super mario world it gave you confidence you got a great system with great games from a great company.

for downloads to be succesful you have to have the space to download to. Full retail releases will fill up an sd card fast. Thats what is great about the 360 and ps3, onboard internal memory and lots of it. Nintendo doesnt seem to be offering this. SD cards are fine for smaller downloads but not larger ones

i can see nintendo calling there next nintendo game super mario brothers 4, super mario world is just that aka super mario 4. Its just like sega did with sonic 4 and sonic and knuckles was actually sonic 4.

Re: Miyamoto Focused on New Franchises

Truly nintendo hasnt had any Mega succesful ips since the nes days 25 years ago. 1982-1988 was the golden years for the birth of gaming IPs. zelda, super mario, metroid, donkey kong. nintendo would not exist today without these.

Re: Talking Point: Nintendo's Year of Giving

the ambassador program was a great thing nintendo did. To my memory a gaming company has never rewarded gamers for being early buyers of the systems and/or reinbursed them someway for a price drop on the system.

Re: Review: 3D Classics: Urban Champion (3DSWare)

with releases like this nintendo will not help itself get out of the slowing down of sales. Only the great classic games from 25 years ago should be released in 3d form. The only appeal this game may have is to people who played it 25 years ago.

just playing the original game in 1986 in those multi game nes machines in wal mart. The first time I played it I was captivated by the sounds , the music, the look and the sense of open adventure. I begged my grandfather to buy the game for me. It took me weeks to beat it. I searched every nook and cranny of planet zebes.

Re: Talking Point: The NES Games You Want on 3DS Virtual Console

tweet75

all i can say is im not buying my nes games on virtual console again there is no reason nintendo couldnt allow those who purchased them on wii virtual console already to play them on 3ds other than greed. Playstation does this why cant nintendo. If nintendo keeps this up they will suffer.

Re: Fortified Zone

i remember liking this game reading about it in nintendo power back in the day. At the time though I didnt have the funds to buy it. I forgot about it over time now it brings back memories and can finally play it.

Re: Nintendo Not Interested in Producing Free-To-Play Software

id much rather play an indepth entertaining, deep game with lots of great content and pay $39.99 for it than a piece of trash for nothing. The idea of having a games revenue from in game purchases is rediculous everything should be contained in a game. Even DLC should be free provided through game updates.
