Re: Nintendo Download: 6th October (North America)

I'm definitely getting Color Splash as a download, as I don't want to wear out the disc drive any more, (too much Xenoblade X, Smash Bros., Mario Kart 8 and more on that thing. It's bound to quit soon. I'm talking over a 1000 hours! I remember when our Wii quit playing discs...that was a sad day).

Super Paper Mario for me! Maybe Rhythm Heaven Megamix someday also. Never actually heard of Rhythm Heaven until just recently when it was announced. I'm hearing that the other games in the series are great so I'm pretty interested, especially since I like this genre pretty well!

Re: Editorial: With Lowered Expectations E3 Can Still Be Full of Nintendo Magic

@BensonUii Hey, Nintendo has ONLY ONE game to show at E3 this year, you can't blame Nintendo fans for being disappointed. Oh, by the way, people who are upset about Nintendo's E3 plans ARE fans. Who else would care besides Nintendo fans? They don't just call themselves fans for no reason. Nintendo has had many E3s where they would show plenty of great quality games. Then you've got times when they would show hardly anything. Which one did most like better? Therefore, Nintendo's E3 plans this year simply aren't smart, unless they plan to show more good things than just Zelda.

Re: Rumour: Nintendo UK Hints at More Mario Kart 8 DLC

I would be ecstatic to see Rainbow Road from Double Dash on Mario Kart 8! It will always be my favorite Rainbow Road, and it would be so cool to see it come back! As for others, it would be sweet to have those Wii Sports Resort courses from Mario Kart 7 on Mario Kart 8, also, and maybe some other ones I can't think of right now.

@Sanicranfast I couldn't agree more. Nintendo is probably just focusing on the NX and its games so much that it's making the Wii U's last couple of years slow and empty. I can't wait for the NX! E3 is most exciting when the console is brand new with not many games at the time, because they announce loads of stuff like E3 2013 or 2014!
Unless the console sucks, it should be an awesome time for Nintendo!

I think I'm still gonna get Xenoblade on here even though I JUST bought a New 3DS with Xenoblade 3D. It's not as enjoyable to play Xenoblade type games on handhelds unless you're on the go, then it's great. But playing it on a better resolution and bigger screen will make it a lot more of a pleasant experience.

Takes up quite a bit of space at 6GB, though!

@XCWarrior I meant that I'm not interested in these games and if I do buy them, I'd probably play them for maybe an hour and then get bored. That's how I am with a lot of indies. Oh, and by the way, I have played LOTS of other games besides 1st party, like 3rd party, indie, and of course plenty of different genres. But usually I like to invest money into 1st or 3rd party titles that are better quality. I also like PS4 games. You just never know with indies if they're worth it or not

I think Nintendo should've made a GAME, not a social app. There are already more than enough social apps online or on the app store, so I don't think we need another one. Nintendo is a game company, after all. Not getting it 😒

Re: Poll: Did the Wii U and 3DS Nintendo Direct Kickstart 2016?

spacepirate

I did not like the looks of Paper Mario Color Splash! Sticker Star absolutely sucked, and it looks like they're doing a similar formula to it. I wish Nintendo would go back to Paper Mario's roots, also with 3D Mario games and Mario Tennis - 3D World, Sticker Star and Ultra Smash just felt like little kiddie games compared to Mario Sunshine, Thousand Year Door, and Mario Power Tennis back on the Gamecube.

I swear - one more disappointing Direct or E3 Digital Event by Nintendo will absolutely make me lose my mind. It's been 3 in a row now! At least in my opinion.

Re: Nintendo Download: 25th February (North America)

The recent Wii U VC releases have been made up of NES and GBA games that no one really cares about. North America needs Xenoblade Chronicles on the Wii U eshop! I want that so badly, Europe has it! I've been playing Xenoblade Chronicles X a lot lately and I want to experience the original one but I don't want to buy the disc. Maybe next week...

Re: Nintendo Download: 24th December (North America)

Am I the only one who's been waiting for SMG to get on the eshop? We finally have SMG 1 & 2, instead of just the second one. I didn't want to buy SMG 2 on the eshop until they released first one so I'm really glad now that I can download both. The reason Nintendo even started doing the Wii download thing is for sheer convenience, really. It's also nice because you can track play time, and I am HUGE fan of that. Also, you don't have to wear the disc reading laser out. So really, it's a good upgrade from buying the disc.

Re: Super Mario Galaxy May Arrive on the North American Wii U eShop on 24th December

spacepirate

Finally! I've been waiting for this ever since Japan got it last January. This almost makes up for the lack of good NA VC titles lately. We still need AC Wild World though and then I'll be happy. People who are complaining about NOA releasing SMG tomorrow are irrational because we are lucky to get something this good for VC. Just be glad it's not some crappy GBA game that no one's heard of.

Re: Nintendo Download: 24th December (Europe)

spacepirate

Oh cool! I'd love to play those games on my Wii U - oh, but I have to live in Europe! I am about fed up to death with Nintendo of America not updating the US Virtual Console with good titles!! It's been forever since we got an awesome Nintendo game on VC here in the US. What good is Nintendo of America doing these days? I would love to play SM64 DS on the big screen, or play SMRPG for the first time in my life, but I can't. I'm so frustrated. It should be shared through all regions.

Re: Review: Kirby: Power Paintbrush (Wii U eShop / DS)

spacepirate

Does Nintendo of America care about Virtual Console anymore? How are the UK/EU getting so many DS games such as this, LOZ: Phantom Hourglass, and Animal Crossing Wild World, but America isn't? I'm getting sick of it. I'm ready for more good VC games, who's with me?!
