Or....perhaps this crazy, wonderful Nintendo is about to unveil something new and different, with a fresh idea up their sleeve. Remember how upset people were when Nintendo opted not to hold a big press conference at E3, and went with a video presentation instead. I got tired of listening to ceo's and celebs babble on about the next unveil at the big E3 conferences, and find Nintendo's straight to the point video much more appealing. Maybe Nintendo is tightening their grip on Youtube, because it has a new video program of its' own coming up. Nintendo saw how successful the Mario Kart Luigi Death Stare videos were, and perhaps saw an opportunity to do something new, unexpected, something gasp that isn't youtube. I'm down for something new!
AWESOME!!!!! Thanks for putting this through Injustice Team! I'm really looking forward to some new characters for this fantastic game. I know there is Lobo....who else is coming?
THANK YOU Mercury Steam for not just making another clone of Symphony of the Night. I love the DS titles, but it did feel like I kept playing the same game over and over again. I think it's wonderful to see a publisher letting a developer do something new with an established franchise. The industry needs new ideas to stay fresh. (How many more 1st person shooters do we honestly need?) Thank you Nintendo Life for a positive review, and for being cool with change! I'll be picking up my copy at lunch!
Awesome! Man, that is a classy move. It's not often you see such honorable and devoted gestures from the industry. Thank you Michael Ancel and the development staff for this bold move. Whenever the game comes out ( I'm hoping for the original release date) I'll be supporting you guys. Keep up the great work. To Ubisoft, I hope your customers and developers are able to convey our plea for you to release the game soon. Thank you!
I am SOOOOOO excited about this! Don't get me wrong...I love all of the classics.....Zelda, Mario, Metroid, DK, etc... But I am thrilled that Mr. Miyamoto is using his brilliant creativity to develop new ideas. In a few years, we may have a new AAA series to look forward to. Go Miyamoto!
Oh! Sorry, one more comment. I think it's a good idea to limit the number of times a demo can be played. It promotes purchasing the software versus just endlessly playing the demo. I think the chances of you buying it will increase if you know there's a limit. In the end, if more sales occur because of this move, then it's done its' job.
Yaaaaaay!!!!!! I am so very happy with Nintendo. Nowhere in the company's past has there been such an evolving and aggresive mindset. I've been supporting Nintendo systems since the NES, and the company has always been very locked and quiet about its' strategies. Here, we see a Nintendo that is adapting to the changing environment, and keeping their consumers and other companies in the loop about its' plans. I love it. Keep it up Nintendo!
In an ideal setting, in an alternate universe full of good things, the 2nd analog stick would've been included in the original 3DS model. However, since it wasn't....I must say I am very happy with this add-on. It eliminates the problems several key developers were having, it opens up the library to a larger variety of games, it takes away one of the PSVita's trump cards, and it's only 12 bucks. Nintendo is doing everything it can to make sure the 3DS succeeds, and I am so thrilled that they are. If it takes a bajillion addons, pricecuts and color swaps to ensure its' success, then I'm on board. I want to see this little system have the success the original DS had...I don't want to be stuck with a dead system. Keep it up Nintendo!
"@Number6"! Thank you thank you for your tip on making sure to include the letters before the numbers! I must've misread Nintendo's instructions on that part and kept getting "undetermined"....But now, it's official! I'M AN AMBASSADOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks again "@Number6". Huge high five!
I think that given time, the 3DS will open the doors for a lot of developers to do some amazing things. Thankfully, third party developers seem to have more financial success on Nintendo's portable systems than Nintendo's home consoles, which will hopefully encourage them to try new things instead of countless ports. ... I think Nintendo made a wise (and possibly even selfless) decision in not releasing a Mario or Zelda at launch. I think they are taking strides in helping third parties succeed on their systems. New 3DS owner to self: "What? No Mario game? I'll pick up Ridge Racer or Street Fighter instead!"
I agree about others needing to notice just how awesome the wii is, danschemen! I feel like I'm always having to explain to non-Wii owners just how great a system it is! No, it doesn't have the graphic horsepower as the other 2, but it offers so much else!
Wow! I have never even heard of this game. It looks really neat! Puzzle game like Lolo perhaps??? I like the visual style, kinda like 4 Swords on Gamecube...
Yep! I'd totally purchase it on disc. I've been waiting for like FOR-EV-URRRR (Sandlot reference) for this gem....so a few months longer with extras for 20 bucks sounds like a great deal. Count me in!
