downloads are not new (well maybe in the states it is) but i remember i think it was 10+ years ago japan was doing downloads . i think it was even on the gameboy you could walk into a store with a blank cart go up to a machine and it would download a game into the cart (now back then it was a single cart item so so you wanted mario, you played it beat it you would go back to the store and download your new game but you would lost your mario game forever
i thought the game looked good until i watched the videos ... you dont even fight in this game.. you run into a monster and the AI does it all until either you or the monster runs out of hps ... very lame
love the first game sort of hate the second game probally did not give it a major chance since i played it 30 mins before turning it off... maybe more tonight before it goes back to gamefly monday... got to get a slot open for Ragnarok Odyssey on nov 1
I want 18th gate BUT THE REVIEWS ARE DIFFERENT and not sure
Okay so what is it FROM THIS SITE Provided you don't forfeit a game and actually suffer the humiliation of defeat, all level and experience progress carries over to the next attempt. The intent seems to be that you replay an area over and over to get strong enough to eventually conquer it; you're not actually expected to beat all of these levels in one go. from another site If you do happen to find yourself overwhelmed the only solution is to start the game again as there is no way to replay old levels to grind up some experience levels.
So this site says you can replay levels but another site says YOU CANT
tempted to buy it if you CAN but it looks nothing more then a poor mans ripped off of a retooled 3 heroes

SO i decided to finally play this game... and all i have to say is WOW..thought there would been a lot more to this game then it was...
Less then 30 mins to beat the story mode... and like the post above me said as soon as you can upgrade your stuff to level 10 the money is worthless since you can no longer upgrade...
glad i didnt pay more then 2 bucks for it its barly worth the 2
@1 like al bundy with married with children ep... power goes out and they are stuck in the supermarket... picks up the cash register and throws it at the glass.. thing bounces off the glass and hits him in the head.... that still has to be one of the funny things on tv
come on 500 pts..... too bad it wasnt coming tomorrow... seem another game in the same line of these games is coming NOV 24 (shocked thanksgiving releases)
come on heros at 200 pts... that looks interesting... i know where my 700 pts are going here and there (well hopefully 700 and not 1000)
Never knew single checkers can move backwards in a jump... also is there a way to adjust the diff. level in Tourament mode cause i cant figure out a way to...
I didnt think Tic tac toe was that bad (ai was stupid though) AI on this game is harder even on school level (first stage of 5) im like 10 wins and 20 losses (then again maybe i suck at checkers)
its really worth the 5 bucks since you do get 5 different stages to play in but if im this bad on school level i hate to see how hard the game is on super star (stage 5)
also the game has more stats on this then on tic tac doe...
Love to see them use this sort of game engine on GIN or Hearts or another card game would buy it in a second even at 800 pts
also those wonder i think in tour mode there are 5 stages after you play so many matches TOP 3 move on to the Next stage BOTTOM 3 move down a stage
Stage 1 school I think 31 matches Stage 2 city i think 15 matches stage 3 state i think 15 matches stage 4 world i think 15 matches stage 5 super stars i think 15 matches
so your looking at least 91 matches before you become checkers champ also there are 13 goals you can aim to get
only down side is like to see a forefit button since some drag out way too long or OFFER DRAW button
Simple like i said on other message boards .. nintendo knows the 3ds is mostly a flop.. rumor has it a new handheld will be Shown at E3 2012 (video footage at least maybe working model) and a new system will hit late 2012 to 2013 what will be the REAL next upgrade from the dsixl
@25 do you remember how big of a game it is (like how many levels how many different screens.)
15mb download seems big (not sure how big games are
if it was a very long hidden picture maybe but then again there are so many based on carts dirt cheap as well... maybe after some reviews i may pick it up.. though the checker game coming out will be first thing i grab
What other games on the Dsiwere service right now would match something like this the longer the better (even cart based games)
wow once you start buying the upgrades the game gets very easy... took me around 5 hours to beat the first 3 chapters.. blew right though chapter 4 in less then 30 mins
EDIT .... WOW just wow ... so i thought what is another 5 bucks to toss away if im enjoyin this game i might as well put 5 bucks into the first one since people are saying the first one was a little better.... HUH?
First minor complaint there is no in game clock in the first game compair to one in the 2nd (i like to know how long i played to see if i got my money worth)
2nd the AI on the first one compair to the second one seems STUPID .. map 1-1 on the first game the ai dont come out for like 5 seconds compair to the 2nd game they are out when the game starts..
3rd. there are no star ratings telling you how hard these maps are (minor complaint) at least in part 2 you know what maps are going to be hard before you even attack
4th.. there is no detail of what the cards even do in the 2nd one it tells you what the cards do in the game
5... LAck of items to buy (biggest complaint ) FIrst game 10 items second game 24 items to buy meaning more grinding
6.. people in your army First game they start at 5 second game start at 10... (minor grip) and finally Graphics... first one is too cartoonie looking , i love the graphics on the 2nd one a lot more .... first one your red AI is blue Well some of the unclaimed towers are red as well so you have no clue why your not moving until you see you only control the towers that are RED with a STAR
Overall of the little i played 20 mins on the first one map 1-5 5 hours on the 2nd one Chapter 5-2 First game i would give it 4 out of 10 (too easy) lack of items to buy and the AI just seems stupid Second game I would give it 7 out of 10 ... more items to buy and the games AI seems better...
so in closing i would say BUY the 2nd one if you dont have either .. first one is just too cartoonie looking and the AI seems very stupid
I will be first in line to buy Castle Conqueror - Heroes BUT sadly if the rate of these games come out that game will never see the light of day till summer 2012 or later probally (since part 1 came out sept 2010, Part 2 Oct 2011)... hopefully sooner or i can find some sort of cart based game or other games like this
taking my time i got to chapter 3 in 3 hours (just beat level 3-1) if the first game (50 maps can be beat in 5 hours) this game has to be harder...
Still tempted to buy the first one but someone really needs to tell me WHY i should buy the first one if i already have this one and 5 hours seems VERY SHORT for the first one... Tempted to buy the first one if someone could talk me into it .
graphics on this game remind me of the art of Fire Emblem:

Re: Nintendo Download: 27th December 2012 (North America)
Mahjong 3D - Warriors of the Emperor looks like it was a cart game and turned into download only
may of got it for 5... 10 is way overpriced
maybe a 9 out of 10 review will change my mind
Re: Code of Princess Is Going Digital On January 3rd

Re: Crystal Adventure
i may have to pick it up sunday but im waiting for that other RPG game to hit the 3ds shop thursday..maybe pick both up at once
Re: Crystal Adventure
i thought the game looked good until i watched the videos ... you dont even fight in this game.. you run into a monster and the AI does it all until either you or the monster runs out of hps ... very lame
Re: Rumour: SEGA Looking To Bring Classic Titles To 3DS eShop
shining force day 1 even at 20
same with dragon force BUT is the 3ds big enough to do a dragon force game
Re: Review: Spirit Hunters Inc. Shadow/Light (DSiWare)
knew it would be too hard to understand and 90 monsters are way to small to catch.... maybe 1.99 but never 7.99
Re: Feature: Mastering The Basics Of Spirit Hunters Inc.
major flop.... wait for it... too much money and for those who do buy it they will say its too confusing
Re: Review: Puzzler World 2012 3D (3DS)
look on ebay for it.. got mine used for 6.09 being on a 3ds cart they should of made at least 10,000 puzzles
Re: Review: Come On! Dragons (DSiWare)
