Re: Review: Dragalia Lost - A Deep And Rewarding Smartphone RPG That Might Just Surprise You

There are a number of mobile games which I enjoy, but I'm not going to try this one.

I mean, I TRIED to try this one, but I quickly gave up on that when I launched the game after the initial Play Store download only to find that more downloads (plural!) were required to get going. Steam has spoiled me; I want to have the downloads finished BEFORE I run the game. I ended up quitting Super Mario Run (in which I paid for the unlocked worlds), Fire Emblem Heroes, Kingdom Hearts Union X, Hearthstone, AND Animal Crossing Pocket Camp because of how weary I've become of this state of affairs (not to mention the lack of disk space from keeping these games installed and updated).

Combine this with the fact that my phone has a 3-year-old battery which dies rapidly with any significant screen time, and I've become less inclined to play mobile games in general for the time being; I have enough trouble getting my phone through a full day with two full recharges from a pair of USB battery packs.

A friend gifted me Final Fantasy XIII for Christmas, so I've been playing that on my 360 (JUST hit Disc 2). On my 2DS XL, I've been playing Majora's Mask 3D and Pocket Card Jockey (the latter has slowly been taking over the former's playing time!). On my laptop, I've been playing Tangledeep (which just released! check it out if you like roguelikes or SNES RPGs).

I cast a vote for Breath of the Wild (I have the Wii U version), and I've been meaning to play the DLC, but I'm kind of in burnout at the moment and need more time before I can settle into long playing sessions again, which that game WILL demand of me.

Re: Poll: Which is the Best Pokémon Game?

I can't really pick for the best - they're all wonderful games, in my opinion - but my favorite is definitely Black/White 1. The story really helps with that - it evokes something for me that no other game in the franchise has duplicated, with the exception of the Explorers set of the PMD spinoff series.

Right behind those are Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald, which I played like crazy in my middle- and early high-school years. Ruby was my first GBA game, and it introduced what has remained my favorite species family (the Ralts line) to date. They also have my favorite Gym Leader battle music (sadly, I feel the OR/AS revision of that theme isn't quite up to par).

X/Y feel the most polished in terms of general gameplay, IMO, save for navigating Lumiose City.
