@d-lask Awesome!! I was disappointed in similar puzzle games costing full retail price on the switch and wasn't going to buy any of them (poyo poyo tetris, snipper clips, etc). Was hoping this wasn't going to be a trend. I will definitely buy this game!
@LordGeovanni You say rollers are underpowered in ranked but to be fair, chargers are underpowered in turf wars. There are more modes coming where im sure the roller can shine.
I think they did the whole Off-Screen gameplay intentionally because if you look at the graphics for the E3 trailer or even the screeny at the top of this article, there is much more detail then what we can see in the on-screen footage. They clearly didn't want to focus too much on the level of detail in the video as they are still going to add a lot more.

Splatoon confirms character customization, weapon customization, solo modes, offline and online gameplay, harder map modes in development (ctf, fort?), full sized retail game is their goal, basic chat features though voice chat unlikely.
