Re: Review: Mega Man 3 (3DS eShop / NES)

I remember when I was in the 8th grade visiting Universal Studios Los Angeles and was so excited to find out that Nintendo was holding some sort of traveling thing where they were letting people try out games that hadn't been released yet and Mega Man 3 was one of those games. It was so awesome!

Re: The Legend of Zelda Oracle Titles Coming to Japanese 3DS Virtual Console

This is awesome! I loved them when they came out. Pretty much every list that I've read of games that need to come out on the 3DS VC has had these two games as #1.

I'm curious though if it will have the special Ganon boss when you play the two back to back and enter somesort of code if I remember correctly. Can't wait for it to come out.

Re: Wii U To Get An "Exclusive" Rayman Legends Demo Soon

I say lets get the pitchforks and storm the castle! I don't have a Wii U yet and it still bugs me that they are doing this. I'm curious if the Xbox and Playstation versions will even have the 5th player since theres no tabler controller for those systems.

Re: Aonuma: Wii U Zelda Is All About "Rethinking Series Conventions"

I'm not sure about this I like the fact that some dungons are harder then others and that you need certain items to progress in later levels. I usually don't like it when they mess around with what works. Like I hated the two DS games (personal opion, don't flame me) how they they took away the ability to walk around and explore in place of boats and trains. But who knows, hopefully I'll love this game just as much as Skyward Sword.

Re: Renegade Kid Clarifies 3DS Piracy Comments

I love his last quote how the transferability needs to become a lot easyer then downloading, as I said before my Wii broke down and I wanted to just get a new one and transfer the downloaded games and then I found out that Nintendo doesn't allow that and that all downloaded games are tied to the downloaded console. Frankly Nintendo needs to loosen these sort of things, piracy is always going to happens as this guy said, but if Nintendo made things easyer to download and transfer then pirating then more people would go the leagal route, Nintendo is only shooting itself in the foot and creating more piracy by having these silly restrictions.

Re: LEGO Laying More Bricks With Legends Of Chima This Year

I know that the Art Director of the Thundercats show was complaining that when the show was in production (its officially dead now) that EB was actually thinking of working with TT games and Lego (which they own) to do a Lego Thundercats series of toys and game, but I guess that since its now dead they Lego toke their designs and changed them enough to still have something like it, but different enough to not get sued.

Re: Goodbye Galaxy Games Responds To Renegade Kid's Piracy Claims

paburrows

I agree that the messures against piracy hurt those who don't pirate more then those who do. My Wii recently broke down and I have tons of downloads that I paid for. I wanted to buy a cheap replace ment and just more the games over via an SD card, but I can't since Nintendo has these silly non piracy messures that tie anything downloaded to my first Wii.

Re: Nintendo: Phones And Tablets Aren't Games Devices

So theres all of this talk from console owners about being worried about tablets and phone games, Im curious it during meeting at Apple, etc. if console competition s even brought up? I wonder if they are trying to take a bite out of consoles or if they even care and are just making games to make games.

Re: Warren Spector Wants to Make a DuckTales Game

Man that sounds awesome, I really hope that he does get to do it, because he really seems to have a passion for these characters! Can't wait for both Mickey games. I also really hope that we get the Ducktales games for the Wii & Gameboy VCs.

Re: Nintendo Power Magazine Looks Set to Shut Down

Man thats horrible! I remember seeing the first issue at my friends house and soon after got my own subcription. I stopped around the late 90's because I was busy with college but a few years ago picked it p again and now my sons are hooked on it! Its a huge blow, EGM and Gamepro are both pretty bad hen it comes to Nintendo news. Nintendo Life and IGN are both awesome, but somehow Nintendo Power always had a fresh prespective and stuff that even NL & IGN didnt have yet, (and thats not knocking NL & IGN's awesomeness). Nintendo Power will sorely be missed, I'm supprised that they didn't just offer free digital downloads like Entertainment Weekly does for their subscribers. The original article on arstechnica.com did say that Nintendo was extremely hard to work with. Oh well.

Re: Mole Mania Burrows onto US eShop Tomorrow

paburrows

I was already planning on downloading Wario and the (on sale) Super Mario Bros. I'll have to looking into Mole also. So tomorrow is the last of the announced VC games that were given a release date, since Sonic hasn't been released this month does that mean that we will get another release schedule of new games for August also? I really hope so, maybe some Advance games like Minish cap along with more NES ones like Zelda 2, etc?

Re: Out Now: Heroes of Ruin Lands in North America

I'm definately getting this, but I'm a little worried about the on-line aspect. I went to Gamestop yesterday and they only recieved 2 copies since no one had pre-ordered it. So I'm worried that its going to be like Shinobi, a great game but streetpassing with it sucks. I went to Comic-Con last weekend and got around 200 hundred streetpasses and only 6 of them had Shinobi. Oh well I'm still getting it reguardless, just because of how fun it is.
