So if I have my Wii U hooked up to a non HD tv is the Wii U version still better or in that case is it just whichever system you prefer?

You would think that with the year of Luigi still going that his evil twin would get his own game and a spot on Smash Bros.

Man that's quick, usually the second Lego Title of the year comes out in June, but I like this that way there won't be the possibility of it coming out after Fathers day so my boys can get it for me!

I have to say that the main reason that I got a Wii U this Christmas was because Lego Marvel wasn't on the Wii, so hopefully this move if true will spur more people to upgrade and support the Wii U.

Nintendo at the moment is under contract with K'nex with their Mario and Mario Kart K'nex sets that are on the market. Nintendo would have to get out of that contract in order to do Lego sets. Although Marvel was making set with another company for awhile and did Lego sets before (Spiderman 2) and after (their current line), so never say never.

So can anyone recommend Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams, it got a good review so I'm thinking of getting it.

@Goginho Probably never, its like a dam everytime you see a leak Nintendo has to patch it up and the hackers & illegal download people keep poking holes in the dam.

Now that Nintendo Life did a positive review I'm getting UnEpic.

I believe that links are a no no here so I remind that people go check out and article over at IGN called "Does it Really Matter if the Wii U Fails?" Its actually quite a positive article about how while things look bad for Nintendo, the company is still doing pretty well.

I wish that they would get the company that made the Sega Genesis versions of Aladdin/Lion KIng or Capcom (original Duck Tales) to do these Disney tie ins like they did those games. They could even get Wayforward to do what they did with the Ducktales Remake for an original game.

So I'm curious for those who have played Unepic, is it like the Metroidvania games?

As for Castlevania 2 I loved that game as a kid, I'll probably get it ether this of next week.

@KillerGBH So would you say that since Unepic is a 2D RPG game, that its a Metroidvania type game?

@3Daniel Yeah I played around with it when we got the Wii U, but it didn't seem like anything that special.

@sdcazares1980 Yeah I agree, this was a great game, I had the Double Dragon for the Gameboy Advance which they took levels from the first two arcade versions it was pretty great, (and really hard to find) I hope that if we ever get Advance games on the 3DS that we get that.

I totally disagree with this review, this game is awesome. I actually like it better then River City Ransom.

I'm actually not tha6t sad that we didn't get anything today, I can catch up on some of the Wii U & 3DS stuff that I missed. WIi U Bowling here I come!

They already made a Metroid game after the Link Between Worlds model with Metroid Zero Mission which was basically the original Metroid with some new graphics and areas and was a great game. I would love if they toke Super Metroid and added some new twist too it, or even a totally new 2D game that is a lot like Super Metroid/Fusion/Zero Mission, etc.

Something that's not being discussed is the fact that a lot of these non 2D games have been rated M (and before I get dogpiled I'm not knocking M rated games) but when you make an M rated game its cool and all that a certain group gets the cool game that they want, but at the same time there's a good sized group that ether are not allowed to play the game like kids/teens (and yes I acknowledge the ones who do it anyways or parents who don't care) and/or those who can play the game and just don't want to because of the level of violence, etc. I personally think that also had an affect on the bad sales of a lot of the 3D games along with all of the valid points that have been raised in this discussion.

It looks cool, but I would rather get games with my coins.

@XFsWorld I dont think so at the moment, but Im hoping that eventually therecwill be one. There was a pretty big one last week.

I would love to get this but $15 seens a littke too high a price. So I will probably wait for a sale.

@WaxxyOne Yeah that's exactly what I did, I heard advice about that so a few weeks before I did the update and then packaged it back up and no one was the wiser, the only thing that I wasn't able to do was the system transfer since the missing downloaded games would have tipped them off. I'm also really glad that the Mario bundle that we got had a physical game included instead of a code. I remember 3 years ago when we got the Wii that the eshop was slammed for a few days also so this didn't supprise me.

I was also able to get on the Wii U eshop and download Ducktales and a few Demos!

I finally got the Wii to Wii U Transfer to go through after trying since yesterday, its fun watching the little Pikmin carrying your stuff around.

Yeah it says scheduled maintenance, I'm guessing that it might be to help with the influx of 3DS users and or more games added or something.

Now it says that the eshop is undergoing scheduled mantinence maybe they are fixing things?

No SMB 3 means I catch up on all of the other great things that I missed out on. Winning!

I remember this happened when I got a Wii a couple of years ago. so its no big deal it will calm down in a day or two.

I'm trying to get on to both do a Wii Wii U transfer and to download some stuff off the 3DS eshop. I actually at one point got on but it cut out part way through, I've actually gotten onto the 3DS eshop a couple times but it cuts out when I try downloading. It like trying to call into a radio contest with all of the attempts I'm making! LOL I noticed that the 3DS eshop doesn't have Super Mario 3. Although maybe they are waiting til things calm down? Anyways I noticed that Project X Zone is on sale for $15.99!

Also the all of the Wonderboy and Alex Kidd games

I'd love to see the arcade version of Time Soldiers which was fun.

I'm a little disappointed, but kind of relieved with the recent surge of new games with the Sega 3D games and a couple of NES ones that I still have to pick up plus the up coming Super Mario 3.

Miiverse is kind of cool, it will be cool to see what its like when they improve it more though. I was kind of disappointed about not being about to use paburrows as my Network ID name for some reason and that you can't change it ever, but I do love the idea of combined eshop accounts though and the fact that its harder to trigger the silly camera.

I'm curious why the $35 one isn't discounted, It does have the non-Mario picture so maybe that's why? I'll have to price check it before checking out or maybe just get the $50 one since it $40 now.

I'd love arcade versions of Golden Axe and Shinobi. THeres other ones that I don't remember the name of, like theres one that involved time travel and a your looking down on your character that was really great.

Yeah I was also curious about why out of the four sets that are just now arriving in stores none of them have Smaug. I'm guessing that we'll get that set in early 2014 since they like to stretch out their releases.

As for the Lego movie game they usually make two or three games a year so The Lego movie will be the Spring release and the Hobbit in the Fall with maybe a summer game.

I'm curious why the 3DS gets tons of updates and it seems that the Wii U doesn't maybe I'm not noticing since I don't have a Wii U yet, but it seems like it.

I'm going to the VC area and can't find River City Ransom, I even tried doing a search and only found a preview video, is anyone else in America having the same problem?

I like both commercials the American one reminds me of the type of NES commercials they made back in the 80's and the UK one showed more of the actual game. I noticed the final scene in the USA one showed a boss that I haven't seen yet.

I remember years ago working in the Disney College Program in the Magic Kingdom of Disney World and while working on Thanksgiving kind of sucked it was a job and that was part of it. That's the thing about jobs though no one is forcing you to work there, you don't like it theres other opportunities out there. Most jobs have something that sucks about it though.
