@MS7000 They probably want to use this same emulator on multiple games so it was easier to just create this that they can use multiple times than to do a full on remake.

@TheFrenchiestFry Normally, I would agree but since this is their only console and the new Xbox and Playstation have just launched, I would bet that they want to produce a new device that is capable of playing scaled down versions of the games that are being released for next gen.

I’m glad that developers are finding such success on Switch but can someone explain to me why the Switch is such an independent developers wet dream?
