I very much doubt this will be released outside Japan. I'm sure there was one for the DS in Japan too.

Nintendo SHOULD address this. What possible reason could there be for this not be a feature? Is it an componenet issue, i.e. having to add more which would bump up the price? Either way, if this was a feature you would bet your life that practically every happy Wii owner would upgrade as a result of this being included.

What about if you own the cartridge but not the hardware it was meant to played on.

It's almost as if Nintendo knew it wouldn't do well so wanted to hide the fact. I would love to know how 3DS eShop compares in sales even in this early stage. I would love to know how many sales games like Lost Winds or those Square Enix FF town sim type games sold. Games like that are ones you'd expect to have shifted big numbers.

That's excellent. Really pleased that 3DS sales are picking up. This should help Nintendo with the release of the Wii U in the second half of 2012.

Now all Nintendo need to do is make a Sky Go app for Sky so we can watch 3D movies with our Sky subscription. In 3D. Rather than the rubbish trailers.

I imported the Australian version of Animal Crossing to the UK when Nintendo were flatly refusing to release it (does this ring a bell with the US folks about Xenoblade?). I think I played that game every day for about two years. It was wonderful and I enjoyed every single moment. I can't remember why I stopped playing.

I enjoyed the DS version but it got nowhere near as much play time, and I think that was because Wi-Fi communications were really emphasized and, well, I don't have any friends that play videogames and I'm not letting some stranger into my town! That was what made the Gamecube version so special. It was my town, no one else had to touch.

I have the Wii version but it sits unplayed because, again, I have no friends to play it online with.

I'm looking forward to the 3DS version though. The Streetpass and Spotpass features could help make this enjoyable for someone like me who doesn't have gaming friends.

So much gaming love here. And all, technically, for free. So many games to play this Christmas. I've got Skyward Sword to finish, I'll be getting Professor Layton, Mario Kart 7, Super Pokemon Rumble and now these. Not to mention Boom Street in early January. Spoilt!

I couldn't get into Inazuma Eleven. I found the story slightly odd and while I thought the matches were actually very well designed, I couldn't get my head around the stats and how they helped you beat the CPU in tackles or getting fouls. To me, it just seemed very random. And that spoilt it for me, leaving it unfinished.

Good idea that makes sense though I don't fully understand why they don't just let you convert coins to eShop money.

The EU Club Nintendo just recently had the Game & Watch replica and DS game added (which I bought). Hopefully we'll get eShop vouchers soon.

Nintendo has denied the reports from Wired though confirmed his wish to work with smaller developers. I think the word "retire" has been mistranslated or misused by either Miyamoto or Wired.

@7ATalavera Thanks, yeah, I've emailed them with a link to a news article as proof of the delay. My item page stated that I would post this weekend after the update has been released so hopefully they'll understand. Still, it would be annoying for them., so I hope they don't mind too much.

Woohoo, just bought the Game & Watch. Now to scratch off some more Club Nintendo vouchers when I get home to buy the Game & Watch game for the DS if it's still there later this evening.

That's really annoying as I've just sold my 3DS on eBay based on the assumption it would be out tomorrow and I could transfer everything across to my new Zelda 3DS. Nintendo, I am dissapoint.

Yes, for some reason unbeknownst to me and probably a lot of other people, Luke has a different voice actor where as Layton is the same. It's weird. And I really don't like the voice at of the US version at all.

I'm not buying the US version. The US version of Luke is bloody awful.

I can't be down to localization costs. That does not make sense considering Nintendo take a risk on Xenoblade, but not on a game that is pretty much guaranteed to sell.

The new Wii and bundled software is expected to be around 99 Euros. But as stated previously, retailers are able to set their own pricing so it could be a little more, or even a little less.

The tickets are being sold by ticketmaster, which means slow servers, and the good seats being withheld and sold by their "reseller" websites to get more money.

What are you on about getting coins for these games, we don't get coins for any purchases on the eShop anyway. At least, I don't and I'm in the UK.

I was one of the lucky however many to get this earlier in the year. It's still sealed and untouched. Isn't fetching much on eBay any more but I would love to know if there are indeed any differences to the packaging on the version being released in August,

The 3DS eShop (in the UK at least) has a Game & Watch section where you can buy about eight games separately for about £1 something each. I hope this doesn't mean we won't get this game.

If I'm honest, I'd prefer one AAA VC game a week, maybe two if we count third parties.

If you overload the VC with too many releases on one day you risk some titles being forgotten about and not selling. Which mean third parties won't want any other titles on VC because their previous ones didn't sell.

But he's right. 3DS is an updated DS. More powerful with a few new features like a 3D screen, 3D camera and better graphics and sound. Now, what the PS Vita? It's got better graphics, a fancy touch panel on the back, and a second analogue nub. Oh and it looks similar to a PSP. So it's an updated PSP.

I know I'm in the minority but I just don't get what's so good about Angry Birds. I got bored of it very quickly. Something I don't do with Nintendo games.

The game does look good but last time I checked WiiWare does provide demos. Although it is a relatively new feature. I also agree it's a mess of a system to navigate. But still. Developer sounds like he's getting a bit of an ego.

Yikes. At least make the W the same heighter as the 3DS logo.

I bought one of these on eBay once. Unfortunately the left eye didn't work so I had to send it back. Shame.
