Star Wars has lost some respect in recent years due to over saturation of content, but to say that's the reason it failed is ignorant. It failed cause it was a buggy mess at launch with bad gameplay mechanics, so much so that they completely revamped certain mechanics, to you know actually work correctly. Now if they think launching a game 18 months later on a console with a far smaller userbase than the others is going to rescue it is insane to me. Most people who wanted to play it would of played it elsewhere already. That's been this Switch 2 launch in a nutshell though, apart from Mario Kart, Fast Fusion, and now Donkey Kong all games released have been available elsewhere, often for multiple years and for far cheaper.
I absolutely love the Ori games, and Will Of The Wisps is one of my favourite games of all time, but I just can't get into No Rest For The Wicked. I've tried several times, but it does nothing for me. A shame as I really was looking forward to it. ( I should note I'm not a fan of souls type games, and this does lean heavily in that direction).

People who don't have fast internet, or much space on their Switch 2 most definitely care. They buy a physical game so that they don't have to download the game slowly, onto already filled to bursting internal storage.
GKC benefit no one but the publisher, to the consumer they are the worst of both worlds, require a download like a digital game, but must have the card in the system to play it unlike a digital game, all downsides, no upsides.
Why even use a standard like USB-C, if youre not gonna actually follow the standard. Deviating only opens Nintendo up to issues in the future and potentially safety concerns as there is a fair amount of power going through the dock that no longer adheres to safety standards.
@OldGamer999
Actually the dock IS 2.1 capable, Nintendo are just not currently using the full bandwidth, but they are using more than the 18GB per second of the HDMI 2.0 spec as they are using full uncompressed colour channels.
@RootsGenoa
Cause people with switch 1 might just unplug the cables from the old dock and put them in the new dock, especially if the cables are routed through walls for exmple. I did exactly the same thing when i went from XBOX Series S to a Series X, just pulled the cables and used them on the new machine, why deal with the rats nest of cables behind my entertainment center when it's not needed?
