Re: Nintendo Provides Some Context to 2013's Tomodachi Life Same-Sex Marriage Controversy

@theblackdragon I understand what you're saying, but I don't think Nintendo was trying to insult the LGBT community with words like "glitch" and "error". Those words were chosen because that's exactly what it was. Usually when a player is able to do something in a game that the developer never intended, it IS a glitch. Now whether or not you think they're lying about it being a "glitch" is left up to personal opinion. But as I stated before, Nintendo rarely if ever intentionally includes homosexual lifestyles into their games. This is nothing new.

@Bluezealand I think you're missing my point... regardless of what type of game it is it's still made by NINTENDO. And Nintendo rarely if ever includes homosexual relationships in their games. So I'm saying if you're going to have an issue, it should be with Nintendo not just this game. Yes I agree that it is not abnormal to see same sex activities in a life simulator game (such as the sims), but this isn't just a life simulator game. It's a life simulator game made by NINTENDO. What were you expecting?

I'm not really getting into the "right or wrong" debate because people are going to believe what they want to believe, and debates do nothing but make sides hate each other more, as they continue believing what they were believing before. But I must ask. Why is everyone so shocked by this? Nintendo's games have generally been "straight based" games. Are you going to stop playing pokemon because a female pokemon can't use attract on another female? Are you going to stop playing Zelda because they won't make Zelda a guy for one game? Are you going to stop playing Mario because of princess peach? Or how about the "straight marriages only" in Fire Emblem? I'm not saying you can't be upset about this game, I'm just saying if you are, then there are plenty of other games to be upset about.

Re: Feature: The Ultimate Super Smash Bros. Direct Round-Up

Reasons I think Nintendo chose 3ds first;
1. Content- I think the wii U will have a bit more content than the 3ds version which naturally takes more time.
2.portability- The 3ds is portable, so it allows gamers to GO out and meet other Smash players on the go. And as a marketing strategy, on the go players will show case smash bros and might even make someone think about getting a wii u for holiday season. (Yes we are Nintendo's floor salesmen)
3. Seasons- think about, naturally more people are out and about during the summer time, which makes it the right season for "on the go" players. Winter on the other hand is a time when most people are indoors and with their families, right in time to play the home console (wii u)
4.Holiday Season- unlike the the 3ds, the wii u hasn't seen that great of a holiday season yet. And I think it's about time for it to have one. Placing the smash bros u release date to winter will put wii u at the top of many people's Christmas list.

PS: This is just an opinion

Re: North American Retailers List Limited Edition Yoshi 3DS XL

Nintendo should have just made an XL with a removable face place, that way people can get any design they want. I'm personally not a "loud" person, so I'm good with just solid colors, but the editions are pretty awesome and there are going to be a lot of people trading in their old system by the time they all come out lol.

I've pretty much played every major Nintendo handheld device, from the GB Pocket, GB Color, GBA, DS, to the 3DS. And I must say that the 3DS is by far my favorite gaming handheld of all time. It may not be the best media device, in terms of internet, music, movies and all of that (who cares). But the games are quality, and a blast to play. Happy Bday 3ds! Keep the games comin!

Re: Video: The 10 Biggest Wii U Games Of 2014

lol not once did they say Wii U is only going to have 10 games this year, the title obviously says ten "biggest" games. Implying that there will definitely be more games, just not as highly anticipated as these... -_-
