I was surprised that wasn't a talking point in the NL review of the game. I didn't mind it in the Adventure mode but having to play tournament matches without being able to turn off its non-stop running commentary was brutal. I won each tournament once and then abandoned the mode and just played freeplay matches. I just couldn't stand having to listen to it and don't understand why I can't turn it off in that mode.
It was used for a 1976 Clue-style comedic mystery movie that starred Truman Capote, Alec Guinness, Peter Sellers, David Niven, Peter Falk, and Elsa Lanchester.
I was going to say that this stuff is firmly priced in the "wait for a sale" range, except looking at dekudeals Hamster's games rarely actually go on sale. I might wishlist a few but it's unlikely that I'll ever actually buy any.
Cyberpunk released a censored version where they needed to, Adhoc decided to release a censored version everywhere, then went into damage control when they got heat for this decision / not mentioning this until after the preorders were paid for. They're absolutely not suing over problems created by their own decisions.
AdHoc absolutely had more than ample time to warn gamers that the Switch version would be different before they preordered the game, and Nintendo can't be happy about the number of people who've been going into support chats asking for a refund because they (reasonably) didn't expect any changes to be made.
The code in a box version of 2K25 was on sale this week at a deep discount and I couldn't be bothered to buy it because after you added up all the DLC it still worked out to be more expensive than any other game on the Switch 2, and it's going to be out of date in less than two months. It's just a terrible value even when the base game is marked down to practically nothing.
Darkwing Duck on the Switch? He is the terror that flaps in the night! He is the unpatched bug that corrupts the save file in a game you've 95% completed! Let's get dangerous!
There's also a free Switch 2 upgrade that only improves resolution in handheld mode.
The full Switch 2 upgrade is $5 and adds better graphics in docked mode, mouse controls, a megaphone, bigger online multiplayer, and camera/gamechat features.
you earn 60 points per week for backing up save data to any switch game and playing a game that goes online (not a NES/SNES/etc game, but anything else)
You can also earn points for missions (for example right now you'll get 50 points for playing Metroid II and 50 for Metroid Zero Mission, 100 each for New Horizons or Pokemon Legends Z-A) and other things like that.
Their website's graphic showed the discount as 42%, not 75%, and the sale got taken down within a few hours of it being up. I was lucky enough to get it in time.
I thought it was okay but kept waiting for a sale / price that never came. People complain about first-party Nintendo games never going on sale but Mario Wonder has had better and more frequent sales than Ultimate Alliance.
I have a Tomtoc slim case and it's the only Switch 2 purchase that I regret. It's too big so the Switch 2 is loose in the case, there's no strap to keep it in place when it's unzipped, and my games tend to slide out of their spots.
I bought it because it got a lot of hype and I liked the color, but it stained easily, it's not waterproof, and I really probably should've gotten a cheaper basic case and used the extra money on a cheap indie game.

Re: Round Up: The Reviews Are In For Pokémon Pokopia
This went from "maybe I'll take a look" to "I will buy it ASAP" for me. Great to hear.

The gameplay seemed great but I found the voice acting to be unbearable and I can't imagine wanting to listen to their chatter for hours.
