@Zeebor15 Exactly, Nintendo cares about the people in the company, that's what they're buying. That's how they've always done things.

If they're going to mess this up, and they surely are, then I prefer they mess up an original story than any existing one.

Kinda weird, but one of my earliest gaming memories is playing Metroid at a friends house. I wouldn't really play that long, never beat it while I was there, but had fun just playing the beginning. It wasn't until Super Metroid that I got truly hooked, now it's my favorite series.

@thinkhector Except it is possible. There are 144 hours in 6 days. It's not healthy, for sure, but they obviously don't care much about the health of their employees if they're requiring 100 hour work weeks to begin with.

@Rinari I'm sure it was just an honest mistake, or maybe she played the later games first. She hadn't even been born yet when the original was released. She's well known to be a gamer and to have an affinity for Samus. She even dressed up in a Zero Suit for Halloween a few years back.

@mlj11 Ridley's name is an homage to Ridley Scott. Alien was a big influence on the series.

@andykara2003 Metroid 4 came out in 2002.
