Re: Eiji Aonuma Explains Why The Legend of Zelda Isn't a Yearly Franchise

linkdeku7

If they released a Zelda game annually, I would never be able to keep up with it all, mentally or financially. It would likely also cause the series to become more stale. Don't get me wrong, I would love to see the new Wii U Zelda, but I still think coming out with a new game yearly seems too traditional and unoriginal. Ever since Assassin's Creed started doing annual releases, I personally became less motivated to hop on and start playing those games because I just don't have as much time as I would like to have to play video games, and I felt that it did start to get a little repetitive with games so close together. People were practically just getting into Assassin's Creed 3 before we started hearing rumors of 4, and I found that almost irritating.

Re: Shigeru Miyamoto Confirms That Secret Memos and a Code Are Hidden in Pikmin 3

To everyone saying it's a download code for a discount, etc: It's not. Did it ever occur to anyone the fact that you get different number sets with each playthrough? If each of these codes were a download code in their own right, then Pikmin 3 would no longer be a game, just a $60 coupon printing machine. Nintendo's not going to just give out endless discounts. Otherwise, they would break their own digital economy. The code is much more likely to unlock something, like new levels, gameplay modes, cutscenes, etc.

Re: Rest Easy, New Characters Are Coming To Smash Bros. 3DS and Wii U

How awesome would it be if Sakurai added a few new characters at launch of the game, then continually added more later via DLC? Think about it, a SSB game could be a prime opportunity to promote DLC! They could offer DLC packages that include anything from new characters to new stages, game play modes, or even new items. Who else sees this as something that could totally happen?

Re: PETA Launch Campaign Against Mario

PETA: Goombas may "seem" to be just stubby little evil creatures that roam the Mushroom Kingdom, but in real life, goombas are known as "Kuribo" in Japan, or "Chestnut People," so by Mario viciously stomping away on the heads of these defenseless beings by the thousands, it is sending a message that it's OK to stomp on chestnuts...

Re: 3DS Trailers Allow You to Receive SpotPass Notifications

Ok, these videos are not showing up for me. I'm in North America, and I even went through the "Upcoming Games Preview" notification from the 3DS home. When the notification took me to the eShop, it just said, "No information on this title" or something to that effect. Anyone know what's up with this? Am I experiencing a bug or something?

Edit: Nevermind, either they just popped up for me, or I overlooked the "Upcoming Games" section. sigh
