I can also confirm the website works for redeeming download codes! I just redeemed Kirby's Dream Course, and was informed on the website that the download will begin automatically. This is exciting
I lol at how people on here are questioning this design concept of designing everything slanted in the game world. We're talking about top of the industry game designers such as Aonuma. I think they have pretty good reasons for how they are doing things. They kinda know they're doing.
If they released a Zelda game annually, I would never be able to keep up with it all, mentally or financially. It would likely also cause the series to become more stale. Don't get me wrong, I would love to see the new Wii U Zelda, but I still think coming out with a new game yearly seems too traditional and unoriginal. Ever since Assassin's Creed started doing annual releases, I personally became less motivated to hop on and start playing those games because I just don't have as much time as I would like to have to play video games, and I felt that it did start to get a little repetitive with games so close together. People were practically just getting into Assassin's Creed 3 before we started hearing rumors of 4, and I found that almost irritating.
To everyone saying it's a download code for a discount, etc: It's not. Did it ever occur to anyone the fact that you get different number sets with each playthrough? If each of these codes were a download code in their own right, then Pikmin 3 would no longer be a game, just a $60 coupon printing machine. Nintendo's not going to just give out endless discounts. Otherwise, they would break their own digital economy. The code is much more likely to unlock something, like new levels, gameplay modes, cutscenes, etc.
Jailbreaking... Homebrews, emulators, and ROMs. This is pretty much the answer here once all servers have been shut down. I've played SNES and N64 ROMs with online multiplayer before, so simulating online multiplayer for Wii would not be impossible.
How awesome would it be if Sakurai added a few new characters at launch of the game, then continually added more later via DLC? Think about it, a SSB game could be a prime opportunity to promote DLC! They could offer DLC packages that include anything from new characters to new stages, game play modes, or even new items. Who else sees this as something that could totally happen?
I personally dislike the Dr. Mario franchise, and I find it highly irritating that Nintendo wasted two whole spots out of the four games on Dr. Mario. Isn't one Dr. Mario game enough for a lifetime?
This day could not get much more amazing! I mean think about all the great news already: GBA Ambassador games revealed FINALLY, Club Nintendo's new site up, and Retro possibly working with Nintendo on the next Zelda? This is just fantastic!
To think I was about to spend 550 of my coins on the new shirt they added to the rewards recently. Oh sweet, sweet Nintendo, I.. I... I need to hug you.
PETA: Goombas may "seem" to be just stubby little evil creatures that roam the Mushroom Kingdom, but in real life, goombas are known as "Kuribo" in Japan, or "Chestnut People," so by Mario viciously stomping away on the heads of these defenseless beings by the thousands, it is sending a message that it's OK to stomp on chestnuts...
Ok, these videos are not showing up for me. I'm in North America, and I even went through the "Upcoming Games Preview" notification from the 3DS home. When the notification took me to the eShop, it just said, "No information on this title" or something to that effect. Anyone know what's up with this? Am I experiencing a bug or something?
Edit: Nevermind, either they just popped up for me, or I overlooked the "Upcoming Games" section. sigh

Re: Video: Footage Surfaces of Cancelled Wii Star Wars Title
I guess there would have been some legal issues to release this game to the public, since it would have PRINTED MONEY!

Science!
Re: EDGE to Roll Its Way Onto the 3DS eShop
@DarkCoolEdge Agreed. They will really sell this game well if they discount its price temporarily like they are doing for the Wii U version.
Re: Norwegian Cruise Line extends partnership with Nintendo, now offering Wii U
@MkTony7 I don't know what channel honestly, I just happened to be walking by the TV in my break room at work when I saw it.
Re: Norwegian Cruise Line extends partnership with Nintendo, now offering Wii U
@Stardust I ACTUALLY saw a Wii U commercial on TV today. Bravo Nintendo, bravo.
Re: Nintendo Updates Available Club Nintendo Reward Games in North America

Re: Miiverse: Super Metroid - Too Taxing For Today's Gamers?
There are two kinds of people: Gamers, and... People who really never should have picked up a controller (see above Miiverse screenshots).

Re: Nintendo Patents Touch Pad for Wii Remote
Sort of a neat idea, but it looks a bit awkward. I think it's possible they could redesign it before it (if ever) is released.
