I ended up buying Stella Glow and Radiant Historia (the demo convinced me that this game is a legitimate heir of Chrono Trigger). It was worth waiting 2 months for this sale!
I liked this idea of relaunching the game including the DLC. It will give an extra boost to the sales (even because it will attract many fans who were missing the old Pokémon that only appeared in the expansions) and it also encourages the purchase of the second game for those who have only one of them (in my case, e.g. , I have Sword and in the long term I intend to acquire Shield DLC Bundle).
I also think the price will be somewhere between 60 and 90 dollars; it should probably be USD 79.99.
I finished The Isle of Armor a few days ago and I really liked it, so I'm looking forward to The Crown Tundra, specially because it seems to have a lot of dungeons to explore (there were very few in the main story of Sword/Shield) and old legendaries to capture.
Good news. Next step: more sales/deals in the national eShop (even if they are aligned with those in North America, as in the Brazilian 3DS eShop), because that's the only way to buy several of the games; prices are prohibitive for the current economic situation in Brazil. The local currency is very devalued (USD 1.00 = R $ 5.50, whereas in January it was R $ 4.00).
3DS sales had a good boost due to the announcement of the end of its production.
It's interesting to note that in Japan, 3D Mario games generally do not sell as well as 2D games.
DS: New Super Mario Bros. sold five times more than 64 DS;
Wii: NSMB Wii sold almost 3 million units more than Galaxy 1 and 2 combined;
3DS: NSMB 2 sold almost 500,000 more units than 3D Land;
Wii U: NSMBU outsold 3D World by almost 600,000 units.
The exception was on Switch, where Odyssey sold much better than NSMBU DX (which, even so, was a 6-year-old port).
I don't think I ever waited so long for a sale like this, lol. Finally I acquired Stella Glow (whose demo I played 2 months ago and I really liked it) in the 3DS eShop. I'm seriously thinking about getting Radiant Historia too, but I'll play the demo first.
Disgaea 6 was the game that most excited me on today's Direct Mini. Now I have until next Summer to finish at least one of the three Disgaea I have: 1 and 2 (PC) and 5 (Switch).
P.S.: This Disgaea 6 announcement probably explains NIS's generous deals on Steam this week and on the European and the South African Switch eShop since the end of August (it was thanks to this sale that I finally bought Disgaea 5 Complete; it is 66% off).
Great news! I was really hoping that they would add this collection to the Switch Online SNES. It will be cool to be able to play the 16-bit version of Super Mario 3 after so many years (I had Super Mario Advance 4, but I loaned it to a cousin and he lost the game).
Earthbound and Super Mario RPG are the two games that I most want to enter the catalog.
It would be wonderful if they decided to translate and bring at least one of the Fire Emblem games released for SNES.
If third-party games can be made available, I think there is still a lack of RPGs. Square Enix, taking Collection of Mana as a parameter, will probably prefer to launch on their own and charge for their games (if that happens, I hope they release Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy IV, V and VI and Dragon Quest V and VI).
I bought Valkyria Chronicles 1, since I enjoy tactical RPGs and this game is mentioned in several lists of best games of the genre that I read around. If I like it, I'll buy VC4 in a future Sega sale.
Episodes 2 (about Nintendo) and 4 (about Sega, console wars and EA Sports) are pure gold, especially for interviews with legends like Gail Tilden and Tom Kalinske. I still have to watch episodes 5 and 6, but so far I'm enjoying High Score.
Excellent news! The life of the Brazilian Nintendo fans was hard in these almost 6 years without official representation. I hope that 1) the console will be less expensive than the imported one, 2) the price of games on physical media will be fairer and 3) there will be more games (and more sales) in the national eShop.
I voted in 1998 because Pokémon Red / Blue and Ocarina of Time were two games that marked my childhood; among the other games launched that year in the West I have also played a lot of Mario Party, F-Zero X and World Cup 98. In a more impartial analysis, however, I agree with the overwhelming majority that elected 2017 as the best year of launches. New console (Switch) with highly anticipated Mario and Zelda games, and still had the ports of Mario Kart 8, Skyrim and Disgaea 5.

Re: CIRCLE Entertainment Kicks Off Autumn Switch Sale, Get Up To 85% Off Select Games
@Sakaixx Mercenaries Wings: The False Phoenix.
By the way, has anyone played it? Is it like a Mercenaries Saga 4?
Re: CIRCLE Entertainment Kicks Off Autumn Switch Sale, Get Up To 85% Off Select Games
I would buy Mercenaries Saga Chronicles if I didn't already have MS 2 and 3 for 3DS.
