I think switch 2 is going to launch with gta6 as a launch title . And probably have an exclusive call of duty game. That’ll get it up to 50 million sold its first year . Then obviously we will get Metroid prime2/4 and Mario kart 9 plus a new 3d Mario and Zelda . Maybe twilight princess and wind waker and double dash to round out that year

People are funny, a few years ago capcom put out onimusha remastered on ps4 and switch and literally no one bought it. They put it out to see how popular it was and see if it was worth rebooting. Capcom literally said well not a lot of people went out and picked it up so were abandoning remasters and a reboot. They literally give fans what they want but people don’t buy it in the first few weeks and wait until 2 years later to buy it used or on sale and wonder why they are hesitant to support new reboots or releases. Look at re4 remake that game didn’t sell as much as other franchises and it’s a remake of one of the greatest games of all time. Because the fans say do this please do this and then they wait until the game is on sale for 7.99 3 years later. Resident evil 3 remake came out and sold like a million copies in its first month . But if you look at its sales now it’s at 7 million copies sold. Why because people waited for it to go on sale for 15 dollars. My point is everyone is begging for them to do more stuff and no ones buying it. I kinda wish it was like the 1990s when they made what they made and we were happy with what we got. They did put oracle of ages and minish cap on the expansion pack . Wonder how many people actually play them or just hope the price drops and play them eventually in a few years hoping they remake them

@Serpenterror i think they’ll put them all on their eventually , if they put snes killer instinct then they’ll probably put the Xbox perfect dark and banjo nuts and bolts . They just can’t put everything in one day people will lose interest and forget in a week .

@WaveBoy also remember the guys who made the original resident evil games worked on og nes and sega genesis games also snes so they had experience, these small indie studios are literally making these old school type games with hardly any experience it’s there take on the original resident evil formula . Shinji mikami worked on alladin which was one of the best genesis games he also worked on sweet home which was way ahead of its time for nes . They were seasoned game developers, the team that made tormented souls are just amateurs working they way into the industry

Literally no one knows what the specs are other than at that game show or whatever a few months back allegedly they had a playable prototype and it was said that someone was playing breath of the wild and it was upscale to 4k and looked like it was going to be on ps5 level graphics. Literally all that’s been leaked . Nintendo also just announced that they will focus on the switch the rest of the year. I think they will milk it and make it the most successful console ever surpassing ps2 . Just my hot take . They sold more switches over the holidays than Xbox series x/s sold since 2020 . And people act like Nintendo needs to release a switch 2 or else . If a switch 2 is announced with a new 3d Mario game and or Mario kart it’ll sell 20-30 million units its first year and a half . They are probably manufacturing them at a high rate to avoid scalpers too . There is a lot that goes on behind the scenes people aren’t figuring in . It wouldn’t be smart to release it anywhere near gta6 if it won’t have gta6 . Also it’ll probably have gta6 . And a cod and a few other big games . Nintendo wouldn’t partner with rockstar for the collection trilogy and red dead to not be apart of gta6 . Maybe it’ll be a launch title

With the release of jet force Gemini it’s almost guaranteed that all other rare games come over , banjo and jet force are Xbox games now so the fact they came over there no reason not to expect banjo tooie, perfect dark and conkers fur day along with dk64 and diddy Kong racing and star fox adventures remastered which no one is mentioning. Beetle adventure racing and cruisn world are needed . Maybe a wrestling game which is least likely. Resident evil 2 would be nice I’m surprised capcom is hiding the classic resident evil games and not releasing them at all . Castlevania . Lowkey many of the best n64 first person shooters are available via nightdive studios, turok 1/2/3 and doom 64 and quake 1 and 2 . Duke nukem 64 is technically on switch. The one I’d love to rebuy is duke nukem zero hour. That was a day one purchase that i loved

Bloodstained curse of the moon 1 and 2 are closest thing to castlevania I’ve seen and since they are from ex Konami/ castlevania devs I’d say that’s a great place to start . And they have a few other bangers besides those 2

@Jeronan if they didn’t have console exclusivity then there would be generic consoles worth 100 dollars emulating everything and the industry would be a mess. Since the dawn of video game consoles there has been exclusivity on Atari and commodore and nes . It’s always been there and drives competition. Lastly Xbox wants to and has tried buying every game company since 1999 trying to make everything Xbox exclusive so your debate on exclusivity makes no sense if Microsoft had its way they’d buy Nintendo and Sony and shelf every thing and only put out halo and cod . Do you pay attention to current affairs Xbox just bought 100 games from activision

@Jeronan Xbox literally has no games worth playing ps5 and switch have all the great fun games . You say that your xsx is better but i mean what games are you playing that are better then god of war and horizon . PlayStation also has ghost of Tsushima and last of us 1 and 2 and now god of war trilogy is getting remastered for ps5 . And Nintendo had a landmark year with wonder , rpg, tears of the kingdom oh and Metroid prime remastered. Let’s not forget all the priceless games on Nintendo Switch online they are throwing at us.xbox literally has nothing to play if someone gave me one for free id literally only play a handful of Xbox (2001) and 360 games namely timesplitters 2 and 3 and mortal kombat 2011and mk vs dc universe and get bored and go back to ps5 .

Nintendo needs to bring in playtonic and the free radical team and be done with it. Nintendo having timesplitters return exclusively would be a return to form , and the yooka layle and blossom tales games prove they still got that”rare” magic
