I would go for a good discount at either Mario Maker, Splatoon or Smash Bros. Also the discounts offered in general are not really that big, so I'll stick to the retail versions for the value. Oh well.
It is being praised as "Slightly more powerful than a PS4", but will probably released in 2017, and soon after it the PS5 announcement alone will crush it. I do own a WiiU AND a 3DS and I love Nintendo games. But I agree that it is technically weaker than competition, and that is the way Nintendo has been ever since the Gamecube (of which I still own two units btw).
@IceClimbers @BarryDunne About Nintendo being responsible for the Fatal Frame game.. I was under the impression this was the case with Sonic Lost World (a Nintendo Partnership). Wasn't it?
Keep getting disappointed by ex-exclusives. Resident Evil Revelations was awesome as a 3DS exclusive, and got burned. The whole Rayman WiiU controversy was awful. ZombiU was a nice excuse to own a WiiU but no more. I can't remember every title, but the point is, the WiiU is truly only worth it for Nintendo titles. Might as well skip Fatal Frame (was looking forward to it) because I am pretty sure it will be "remastered" for the PS4 too at some point.
@JaxonH @LordGeovanni Yes I know that nowadays it is tough to get all content in a single disc, because of constant updates and so on. And that is sad for collectors. I do own a lot of digital games, but there's some stuff that I still deem worthy of having as a physical collection. Games that are an epic experience, or a great adventure on its own (Super Mario 3D World, Evil Within, Zelda games etc etc). And for me, Hyrule Warriors is just between those two worlds (constantly-evolving games, and "classical adventures by themselves").
Any possibility of the WiiU Hyrule Warriors getting a "complete version" release when the 3DS version launches? I have not bought the WiiU HW because I was disappointed with all the "added on content" sold separately. I want to have the whole, full experience on my dics. For collection purposes.
@business-scrub Well I agree it's a bit tricky, but there's some ways to help the decision. For example: if it is an announced feature of the game, or if it is stated in the game's instructions, or in the selling points, or even in-game tutorials, it would not really be considered a secret, or an easter egg, or a treat, or a surprise. If it is tricky to find out about, like if it is something the casual or average player would not notice, it might be considered an easter egg or a nice surprise reward the devs intended to gift dedicated players with. I'm not arguing and again, yes I agree it is tricky. Another way to tell: if more than enough people complain about it being a spoiler, it could be considered one. Because it does feel like one. Oh well. That's why I avoid movie trailers altogether, when I already know I am going to watch said movie.
@business-scrub There's plenty of article writers that are considerate and avoid spoiling nice surprises with little effort on their part. The game looks awesome and it would be a very nice surprise to find that easter egg while exploring it. The Internet itself is not a problem. It is a free open communication channel. If a writer or a website wants to keep a strong number of readers, he/it should avoid making these little seemingly harmless mistakes. Afterall there's always a 2nd-place runner trying real hard to be #1.

Re: 3DS System Version 11.0.0-33 is Now Available
@nintendolife should just create a nice looking "3DS stabilit-o-meter" on the homepage.
Re: Review: Johnny's Payday Panic (3DS eShop)
OK so the best quality trailer video on youtube for this game is 240p quality..?

@faint Thanks for the info, was not aware of that. Maybe I will get the WiiU game then.

Well thank you very much for the spoiler. Could have at least posted a "Warning: Spoiler" right before the title. Yes, sorry but I'm serious.
