Re: Guide: New Nintendo 3DS - Everything We Know So Far

Not sure how I feel about the new models. I like the aesthetics of the new 3DS, including the iPhone-esque white band on the 2 outer cameras, but the 2nd circle pad looks awkward to use.

Also, I'm kinda sad they now have regular Start/Select buttons; I liked the (somewhat odd) rectangular buttons on the bottom screen's border

Re: Talking Point: Are Wii U Games Going To Be Too Expensive?

There are undoubtedly going to be some excellent games (especially as more and more titles are developed) out there, and I don't really want to be paying $60 for just one game.

@Silverbullet89 True, but the price drops a while after the game was released (some exceptions apply, but not to most "big Nintendo" title such as Mario).

I'm hoping to pick up NSMB2 today (no money for that+3DS XL), but since I live on the East Coast I'm not sure if my Gamestop will have it in stock (last time I checked they received shipments 1 day after the original release date).

Re: Bigger Nintendo 3DS Console Revealed

I should have seen this coming before I bought the 3DS : Oh well.
I wonder how the bigger screen will affect 3D gameplay...does this mean you would have a bigger "sweet spot?"
Anyways, my hands are getting really cramped on the 3DS right now, so maybe it's worth trying it...

Re: Round Table: Let's Talk About a Year of the 3DS eShop

There are a lot of good games to buy on the eShop but I wish there was some sort of "return" function that refunds part of your money if you find that you don't like the game you downloaded, because then it ends up being a waste of $$ and space on the SD card.

Re: Feature: Memorable Zelda Moments

I completely agree with the PH memory. I remember being so frustrated when I first encountered that puzzle, so I closed my DS and went to play something else. When I opened it up I was surprised that the seal had transferred itself over to the map!

Re: Nintendo Doesn't Want a 3DS Price Situation on Wii U

For $400+ the Wii U had better be one heck of a good system. Otherwise I'll just wait and/or buy it on eBay for potentially 1/2 the price or less.

On another note I do hope that there's a good number of 3rd-party supporters so they Wii U can have an extremely strong release, like the Wii.
