@Ooccoo_Jr You don't really collect "thousands of guns". Sure there are tons of guns but we're talking about variations of stats, accessories, and side effects to make up those numbers. Asides from top tier legendary guns which have different special effects, most guns are just stat numbers. Find a higher stat gun, swap it. It's not a pokemon gotta catch em all situation.
To answer your question, yes the stories are very enjoyable even if you don't focus on the grind. The grind is usually for those who want the absolute best and maxed out legendaries from the RNG Gods.
BL1 is a bit text heavy and subdued but still great, BL2 and PS have way more pizazz in their presentation and a lot more character/attitude. Looking back, PS isn't as well liked by fans. It's still an OK game, very similar in style to BL2 but not as polished.
@nessisonett You sound like a fellow dev, so you should probs realize that not all versions gets a production release. Sometimes issues can come up on release candidates and needs to be pulled back again.
Guy potentially jeopardized any future working relationships between Ninty and the dev/publisher. It isn't so much about what the ruby interpreter can do. There's potentially violations of terms and agreements Ninty had with the dev/pubs. Tweeting about this easter egg was basically showing intent on violating those terms and now he's trying to play the victim game.
@Luna_110 I'd go for classic controller. The only thing is you have to take your thumb off the analog stick (movement) to change arts (dpad) during battle. Maybe wiimote+nunchuck might be better in that sense but I've never tried.
Personally, I loved most wanted on Wii U, it's the most polished and definitive version of the game. It's a real shame what's happened to Criterion. Been a fan of their games since I had burnout 2 on my cube.
Getting a digital copy as a pack in is a much smarter move in my opinion. They had bundles where the game was pre-installed on the machine. For those upgrading from a regular 3DS or willing to replace their existing XL's, they can transfer the system over without worrying they'll lose out on the pack in game. Of course, the best option would've been a physical game in the box but that would've brought the price higher. For those like me who prefer a physical game, they could also just sell the code, like I did for wind waker HD.
Yes, Nintendo should've made an HD console box that is indistinguishable to other consoles and platforms, and provide the exact same experience. It would've dominated the market. Honestly, take away the DRM/online controversy, you could just flip a coin when deciding on whether you'd want a PS4 and xbone.
Do they even remember the wonderbook/ps3 pack competition? They've never announced the winner, months after the due date. I don't know if they'll keep their word for this competition as well.
Everyone complains about the XL not having a second circle pad. They seem to forget there's also the additional shoulder buttons. I can't begin to imagine how to work that into the design. Would you make the XL thicker? Would you make the buttons smaller and place them side by side like the Wii classic controller?
Also, designers should work with what they are given and design experiences accordingly. Metroid Prime Hunters was an FPS and it worked brilliantly by using the touchscreen.
I'm a big die hard Nintendo fan, but I don't understand all the hate towards Pachter. If you watch his show Pach Attack, you'll realize he's actually very logical and critical of a lot of other things. I think his negative reputation comes mainly from fan boys. I do agree with some of the things he criticises about Nintendo.
I like seeing developers work with the given hardware specifications, rather than complain and beg for additional buttons or analog sticks. The game works fine for me with a single circle pad so I'm happy they went down that route.
These bite sized, indie style games work better in separate digital chunks in my opinion. I don't carry much carts with me when I'm out, so I tend to prefer "bigger", "fuller" games occupying my cartridge slot.
Both are completely different games, not just your average different pokemon in each game kind of deal. Different world, different dungeons, the whole lot. Even the style of play is different, seasons is more action and ages more puzzle focused. If you finish either game, you get a password to input into the other game, effectively combining both into 1 big adventure that apparently has a "real" ending.
(excuse my capital letters outburst, but...)
YES HOLY DOODOO LOVING YESSSSSSSS!!!
I've actually very recently had the urge to finish off Onox in my copy of seasons, and then wanting to continue into ages. This. Is. Perfect. Timing. Just gotta make sure the battery in my seasons doesn't die before I can get the end game password.
I'm glad there are still people who know the difference between the original SP and the AGS-101 SP. I've seen so many people claim the original model had a backlit screen when it was only frontlit. I must say though, I have both variants of the SP and the backlit model is definitely well worth the price difference. However if you're looking to play in the dark in bed, it'll burn your eyes off.
"Any pre-installed Nintendo 3DS download software will be transferred from the source system to the target system. However if you delete your Nintendo eShop account activity on the target system after the transfer, you will no longer be able to redownload this software to that system from Nintendo eShop."
What does this mean? Does this mean if I clear my eshop account activity then ALL the things I've ever bought on the eshop is no longer redownloadable? Has this always been in the 3DS, regardless of doing a system transfer?
