We're just days away from the launch of Golf Club: Wasteland on Nintendo Switch, and if you've been thinking of picking it up later this week, you'll be pleased to know that it includes some very welcome extras.
The game, which combines environmental storytelling with some lovely-looking golf puzzle action, is headed to the eShop on Friday, 3rd September. All orders include a full, two-hour digital soundtrack and a 55-page graphic novel called Charlie’s Odyssey, which delves into the full story of the game’s hero.
To give players a taste of what's to come, Demagog Studio has put together a couple of animated music videos featuring two songs from the soundtrack. Both songs feature vocals from Ana Curcin and can be listened to below:
Human life is wiped out. Earth is now a golf course for the ultra-rich. Play through a cozy apocalypse as you piece together the fall of humanity at the hands of consumerism, Silicon Valley culture, and ecological disaster. All while a smooth-talking radio DJ broadcasting from Mars and his callers try to remind you that life on the red planet ain't so bad.
We'll have a review of Golf Club: Wasteland for you as soon as we can, but feel free to let us know if you're interested in the game in the meantime with a comment below. You'll spot that it's available at a 25% discount for a limited time, taking the usual £8.99 asking price down to just £6.74.

damn the 2 hour soundtrack and graphic novel comes with a free golfing game
It looks like it's What The Golf, but with golf.
Heck yes.
Likely a day 1 for me.. pending a good review. Looks cool so far!
I watched the trailer for it last night and the game looks miserable. And I don’t mean that in a “it’s a terrible game way.” I mean that in a “it’ll make you hate yourself and humanity by the time you’re done way.”
"Human life is wiped out. Earth is now a golf course for the ultra-rich."
Feels a little too realistic a scenario, imo.
I love the music, but the game play will be the thing. I can't argue the price, but I will wait on reviews.
@Realness I'm part of the team helping out on the game. The dev team did their darndest to make sure the doom and gloom is more in the background so not constantly in your face. They also try to counterbalance the doom with a few things like the art style, chill music etc.
So while yes, it's a sad-ass message / story, but it's only towards the end where it REALLY hits. But by then we have your money so you can't refund it anyway. Sike!
Jokes aside, if you want a better read-up, they talk about it here.

I'll get Golf Club at that price defo.
This could literally describe any posh Western golf course while the region is on fire and at critical water limits….
This looks like the type of game that will get a physical from someone so will hold out for that.
Where do we find the soundtrack and graphic novel download?
